How disappointed were you when, after grinding away to level 75 and all through looking forward to the fountain getting unlocked, you got there and realized you only get like coins, chewed up (literally) credit cards and some lame druggie stuff from there?

I was super disappointed.

The special loot I got from there when I hit 75 was 4 cannabis ?

I mean come on Ched...even the cemetery regularly coughs up 500 ish dollars! Maybe the fountain should have been second after the trash, and the cemetery the last thing to unlock? What think?

Looks like the scaling on the yearly value graph has changed recently, making it harder to figure out the extent of value changes.
For example, here is the yearly graph for an energy drink i was checking out:

As you can see, the current value is 1.7m and the value around October is 2m which is quite a large difference relative to the cost of the item.
In the scale that was used before this difference used to be a lot more apparent; now it looks as if the current value is almost the same as that in October.

Yeah that's my point... You actually get better stuff even in junkyard and beach than in fountain. It's literally only better than trash (and that's debatable even)

I get it, in the larger scheme of things what's $500 or $70 it's all insignificant anyway... I'm just saying some of us actually read the little fun stories rather than just smashing the button to get the lvl 100 merit, and those of us would like the little joys of getting better rewards in higher levels of the same crime. Does this not make sense to anyone here?

All I said was that fountain is worse than cemetery even though you unlock it later and everyone wants to turn it into a crimes income dick size contest.

Lol why so negative? I was speaking relatively here about the vast difference between the cemetery and the fountain. It's basically like playing diablo or something where you grind low level dungeons forever gaining exp so you can finally unlock a new level...and then finding out that the monsters in the new level drop much cheaper loot than the previous one.

I wasn't expecting millions in the fountain, obviously. It's about relativity and a basic idea of what progress means.

Is that simple enough for you, or should I dumb it down a bit more? ;)

Haters hate because they're jealous of what you've managed to do, but they aren't terrible people either! I've noticed that when I am friendly and appreciative of their achievements, some people who were haters have become really good friends.

Of course every now and then you meet someone who really seems incurable. Such people I just ignore till they get bored and go find someone else to infect with their negativity. Don't encourage them (like you seem to be doing with Baron by always replying to his dumb posts on this forum thread too). Let it go! You'll be free ?
