Even though I'm sure some part of what Lynx22 said was true, Madd168_8 really tried to fix the issue and even offered for him to keep a very large portion of the funds. Even I'm not that inhumane and would definitely work with Madd if I was the scammer. I'm sure in some way Madd brought this on herself and was too busy with RL to see the signs and prevent this from happening. Sigh, it's about time you faction leaders learn to expect the unexpected nowadays and try to see the signs from early.

It shows that both sides still have much to learn in how they approach situations but can only improve if they are even open-minded and willing to change to begin with.

I (we rather) support them not only due to the potential that Torn has but also to mitigate and reduce these kinds of issues drastically. This is not the first time I called them out on this. Will this be the last? Probably not, but one day it shall (hopefully).
I criticize and call out whatever issues that bothers me so I can expect some response. It's called criticism for a reason child and it's because I know how great Torn can become why I want them to work their hardest to work on these critical moments (special events) so we can have the best Torn experience.
I saw Ched posted recently about this issue and that they're going to investigate more into this. I understand and appreciate the communication thus I will no longer speak on this BUT that doesn't mean I won't CALL OUT what frustrates and annoys me. He also has the Torn community to help him (if possible) to try and help to fix the issues, I know some of them would be willing.
I wish I could spend the entire day on this but since I can't, I hope the times when I DO come log on, it's without major issues and inconveniences.
This is one of the most highly anticipated events. Why is it that the devs aren't better prepared to handle these kinds of events? I feel like logging off and coming on later to see if the lag would disappear but knowing how Torn players are on a Saturday, it most likely won't and I have to make the most of this since it's only once a year.
Congrats on reaching another milestone regarding daily players but what good is an event if we won't even be able to enjoy it?
People will always say that "you should never attack online players" and "there are consequences" but I guess they've never experienced the Halloween event. A single response can either make you hate a player and attack them constantly or ignore them outright. You know what you did was wrong and accepted that but I guess the other player didn't accept it and was full of "fury", so they decided to let their entire faction (S.W.A.T) attack, bounty and send anonymous messages to you while feigning ignorance of your existence. That is also funny.
I ask you this people of Torn and think deeply on this.
