Hi Support Team
I expect that there will be a few of these tickets opened in the next few minutes, but I don't know. Guess I can open the flood-gates at least.
Approximately 15-20 minutes before the posting of this thread, Torn experienced severe and significant server latency resulting in multiple users getting 502 Errors and severe lag when actually connected to servers. It has since been advised by devnoodle [2773956] that there was approximately 454GB of data being migrated prior to the advised Site Maintenance times, which was the cause of these issues.
W.M.D was in the process of chaining and lost its chain due to multiple users receiving 502 errors, and quite literally being lagged out of attacking players to maintain the chain. I am quite happy to supply several screenshots taken during this time if needed.
I would like to ask if the chain can be reinstated post-server migrations are completed, and if an ETA can be provided on what that will be? Significant resources had been readied and utilised to prepare for our chain, and we were already over 3k in chained hits before we were lagged out.
I hope that devnoodle is ok, and does not receive any trouble or harrasment as they are only doing their job to make the site and game better for all our players and staff.
Thank you
