After running an AN in the past and now owning and managing a LM I feel like the company system and player-given jobs also need an update like everything else.
Let me start by saying that I enjoy current system but I feel like something is missing. Something more than just setting an Ad Budget, few salaries and letting it be. My main suggestion would be the possibility of owning and managing multiple companies, maybe cap it at 3 to 5. I think it will give company owners more enjoyable things to do. I know managing just one company can be stressfull at times, but that is part of the game and something people chose to do. There could also be some extra little jobs, using energy or nerve for employees to make a bit more cash.
Perhaps directors could be appointed, make suggestions to salaries, budgets and else, giving the owner the option to accept or decline it. Just like now they wouldn't affect the number of employees but could also have some sort of stat requirement. Like running at least one 4 star company before being a director or being an owner of the type of the company they want to be a director in for X days.
That would also then require the companies to be traded to people outside of one, letting them become the director right away without a need to be employed there beforehand. I think that way people would spend more but also make a bit more too. I know I personally would start another company.

True, I did not think about that. They could maybe at least allow us to work another job while owning a company I suppose. I think that could be a bit better option.
