Your whole “I’m butt-buddies with the restaurant owner so you better send my food back and re-do it” fearmongering might work on the employees but to the other guests just enjoying their meal you look like any other typical Karen putting their nose where it doesn’t belong. And the fact you felt it prudent to name drop the faction leads as if your history with GOONS puts you on some sort of high horse of authority over their faction or something is gross. Are we implying that GOONS and their constituents, people I’m sure you know by name, aren’t guilty of their own stupid dipshit moments, or have you forgotten? Allow me to jog your memory. Instead of talking about how one person took their trolling a little too far let’s talk about an entire organization review bombing and doxxing a game dev over a rule being made. (I’m aware it wasn’t just GOONS doing that, but please don’t interrupt.)
Besides we can always talk about GOONS’ posting of goatse shit in game forums thinking they’re funny.
Or if you want a Torn example, we can talk about Nedsexaginta of GOONS.
Now, I’m sure you didn’t mean to imply that your history in some obscure AA in a game that’s dead by now gave you any leverage, but just in case, I found the aforementioned worth mentioning.
So while I agree Ballpit did some dipshit stuff in this thread, maybe being a dick to someone trying to be sincere and ensure everyone knows they were joking isn’t the nicest thing. You never know what people know, and those who know, know.
