Thanks for you calling it out.
I would like to add another point here. I have never seen a CM, even staffs, from a profit making organization, would act and talk like this to their customers. It just shows completely biased.
Of course people would argue money does not mean everything. Well, I am just saying.
Personally I only disagree your statement as the following:
To suggest this is the only thing holding players in China from paying is naive though, if they want to pay and sub they do and find ways to do so, the real issue is in dealing with internal RMT markets among Chinese players.
First of all, you are assuming there is internal RMT markets among Chinese players. I am not sure where you get this (evidence?). As far as I know, there is no such a market. My humble guess is the RMT action is only personal actions of some players but not in an organized way. (I know for sure you wouldn't give any evidence. So the existence of such evidence cannot be proved. Schrödinger's cat? Then who is Schrödinger in Torncity?)
Then I realize you called me out in this post and use this to prove that "Oh see, these SMTH players got triggered, they must be doing the same bad thing so they get angry". To me this is freaking hilarious. I have never seen such a calling-out targeting a single player in any game.
To be honest, I don't give a fxxk with these forum debates. If I trust GM is doing the correct things, I should let GM deal with them. It would be best if GM can catch all the cheaters so that I can play at peace with no drama. If I don't trust GM, then deleting the faction doesn't mean much to me but just proves that this game is not worthy for me to spend money, time and importantly energy on building my character. If GM needs to do some special investigation, I would suggest contact our leaders. Why should I bother? (btw, haters gonna hate, never ever debate with haters on the forum again)
It is ok that other players raise concerns or even accuse with non-sense to any factions ( using some cheaters as examples and accusing the whole factions.) At the end of the day, this game is decided as competitive or even kind of like zero-sum game. Someone is better off, another will be worse off, in most cases. But seeing some admin's statements just makes me lose faith on this game.

"This smear campaign roped up hundreds of innocent players in Monarch who did nothing other than play in a faction that some people don't like."
This sounds familiar to me. Oh, what a coincidence.
Thanks for you calling it out.

But I remember CRLF is female.
Probably crypto currency purchases = no tax?
Where is my xanax?
Maybe I'm late, but I want Xanax Dividend too.
Good luck and Congrats. See you around in Torn if you feel bored again.
This way you can just pay higher than each lost. Wouldn't think that would be too expensive.
The losing side either pays half to you or pays to the merc. It seems like the losing side does not lose anything extra by hiring merc.
On the other hand, the winning side is taking risks from winning big to winning less or even losing. I guess it is the risk you need to take when you try to rip off.
