My first Elimination and here are some thoughts:
– Discord is a bit hard to deal with if you play mobile version, but the trick is that I don't think any in-game tools can replace it.
– 30 minutes tick is a good thing, I'd go insane with 15 minutes. :D
– Random teams in general turned out to be a nice thing for me but I think that being allowed to invite 1-2 people in your team would be a pretty cool touch. On one hand, it lets you cooperate with your friends. On the other hand, we get a "head hunt" where people try to get heavy hitters to be on their team exactly. Perhaps, some balance adjustments would be nice too – I mean staff making sure that originally all the teams are more or less similar in stats.
– Kicking leeches is a big dream of people in Elimination, lmao. I've thought about how people with low attacks can still contribute and actually I think it can be somewhat balanced out in the following way: you get kicked out if your attacks are below 10 & your online was 24+ hours ago & it's 4+ day of Elimination. Something along these lines that makes sure that your general activity is taken into consideration too.
Or, perhaps, if Captain and such are to be official roles in game, give them the right to kick members?
– Administration roles in game would be cool. At least everyone would recognize their bosses without checking Discord. x)
– Several teams lose lives? Sounds fun and fair! I'd probably go with something like "all teams with 0 tickets lose lives" or "1/4 of teams in the bottom lose lives".
– Fewer lives? Yup, I'm rolling with it. I don't feel like it would actually change much (unlike the situation with ticks) but it will really prevent the competition from dragging out.
– Respect-like system? Oh my god, yes, please. It would make the whole thing so much more fun!
