I regret my love life. I grew up with defects from when I was a kid to my teenage years, so dating was not an option.
Then after I managed to overcome it, I had to take care of my mother. I worked 2–3 jobs while finishing college, so dating wasn’t much of an option either.
Then I met my partner, and we have been together ever since. But we are more like business partners and siblings than we are lovers.
I dated or went out with a few people while we were on and off, but those were biologically functional, not emotional.
We will get married this June. Nothing romantic about the wedding plan or the marriage proposal. It was more about discussions of schedule, finances, terms, and deals. No declaration of love or anything like that. It actually fits with my character.
I understand that sparks fade after a while, but if there is anything I regret in life, it is my love life. I wish it had a little bit of romance and sparks.
