You are absolutely right about the RNG, the proffitable subcrimes and the total Crime XP needed. The negative proffit on my side was not due to missing Crime XP since i had all previous crimes to 100 skill, amlost all uniques except the damned shoplifting ring, and all but Cybercrime and Illicit Services medals grinded (perhaps the last few vandalism medals too). I think I was in a hurry to get it done, taking too much risky jobs, loosing higher value tools and buying them so i could get back to grinding those cyber/illicit medals ASAP.

I think i learned the lesson and now im not in a hurry for Arson. I started to think about the best way to diversify my dayly Nerve between Cracking and Disposal medals grinding, Burglary and SFC for Arson materials and the Arson itself.

The best advice there is to build up crime XP starting from the easier crimes going to the harder ones with caution, planning ahead, gathering materials. Every new crime is adding to that with its different mechanics we have to disect and learn.

As for the crimes we hate - we can grind them untill we get what we need from them and then move to the ones we like and forget about the bad feelings.

I finnished grinding Vandalism and I currently grind Cybercrime & Illicit Services. My hopes were on Illicit Services, since Im way behind on that and it couldnt be Extortion / Illegal Production.

If we dont take in account who grinded what, it would be best if we could get additional crimes on those categories that havent crimes introduced yet or those with just one. The more diversity - the better. :)

Background:

Scamming cs 100, Decepticon achieved, addresses farmed above 500k;

Other crimes: all at cs 100, all honors but Crown Jewel achieved;

medals: Illicit Services 11 (4,200 crimes), Cybercrime 13 (6,300 crimes), the rest - medals aquired.

Im spamming cracking and disposal, putting some spare nerve in additional farming and from time to time spamming on investment scam but no affluent targets appeared in weeks for the Grift Horse honor.

Any advice on tactics for Grift Horse is welcome. Thanks in advance!
