1. The Ukraine conflict began in 2014, when Russia seized Crimea.
2. The conflict isn't 'ending' anytime soon.
3. Pandemics are more likely, in our modern era, due to increased human/animal interaction, habitat encroachment, factory farming, cheap intercontinental travel networks & migration.

So all the events you mentioned don't have discreet beginnings, & endings, that validate your poorly thought out conspiracy.

Yeah, I'd tentatively agree with the thread title. Sentience is of moral relevance, so insofar as foetuses are (probably) not sentient up to at least 20 weeks, but live mammals are sentient, then I'd give a mammal's life more weight in any moral decisions.
