As for me, I got fedded the moment I received the money. All that time between me receiving the money and sending it back is due to federal jail. I just can't think of stealing that money, but bogie telling me that I'm "free to do whatever I want with it" would surely give everyone second thoughts :)
Really though, I got kicked out my previous faction, and was given the privilege of joining a faction that's way out of my league. Me being a Stomper is reward enough, I have like minded friends here with like minded senses of humor. I'm just thankful for the opportunity.

I think I should say a few more words on this as I'm off duty now. I got a lot of messages, gifts, and even bounties with funny reasons today. All this love I got, it's everything I could ever ask for in a game like Torn. No amount of e-currency can buy it, and I'd return that money over and over again (yes, even after having a whole day to think about it, and knowing it would have no consequences from the staff side :P). It just wouldn't feel right to screw over a faction that accepted me and treated me like an equal. I'm sure there are people in Torn that very well deserve it, but Helmstetter and LS sure aint one of them.
The way I see it, interactive games like this are much more fun when you have friends. On the contrary, friends turned enemies is a sure way to ruin the fun for yourself. It's just never worth the fallout, I wish some people could just see that.
And finally, I have spent a good deal of my day replying to DM's, messaging and thanking for all the gifts, and still I have more people to thank to. I tried to answer all your questions, and I'd love to thank each and every one of you, but it's getting very late here and I'm not even half done yet. I made a lot of friends today and messages just keep popping up. I'd rather be poor and have friends over here than being a rich scumbag. Thank you everyone for assuring me that respect and friendship is what matters in this game.
Simple. Torn pays the data provider, and this costs them money. There are some absolute trash Leagues out there that I wouldn't bet even when I'm piss drunk. Switch them with better ones, or outright remove them. What's the point of paying for the data if nobody bets on them? Give us better leagues, or remove some of them and use the saved up money elsewhere.

Football - Turkey 2
Football - Turkey 3
These two leagues are literally full of tiny teams that even Turks dont know about. Even I dont follow them as an avid football fan and a real life gambler. I'm surprised that these leagues are in Bookie and Turkish Cup is not. Replace "Turkey 2" with "Turkish Cup", which is the second most popular betting ground in Turkey. Remove "Turkey 3" altogether.
Fellow players, if anyone has also noticed such competitions, let me know your suggestion and I'll add it here. Let's clean up these useless leagues and get ourselves better leagues to gamble on.

Card Skimming is likely my second crime in terms of cash earned; the first one being Cracking with 170m, and I stopped doing Cracking after I hit 100. In terms of nerve/money, Skimming is literally the best out there.

Aside from being a dick move, it's a shortsighted move that only a newcomer would do, ruined his standing for a measly 800M. Not even 1B, it doesn't get you any good weapons and armor, it doesn't get you a PI, it doesn't even feed you FHCs for a full month.
Bet he's going to enjoy the newfound money for a while, then start another account. I really hope that he learns from this mistake though. Torn has a way of making people pay.

Can we appreciate the fact that OP basically placed millions worth of bounties on Cal by posting this thread? And all without spending a single dime himself. He quits because he is not invested enough in the game, but not without one last act of defiance. Whether he knew or not that people would bounty Cal for this, his act of posting this really matches with the spirit of Torn Community.

I cant begin to express how much I appreciate this service as someone that OD's like a crackhead. I spend all my refills every day and use all my xanax which is a fixed cost. But the DVD's are bitch when you lose them, couple that with all the natural e you lose by stacking, and you definitely need something to offset the risk. For a small xanax payment, you turn your jumps into a win-win situation. If you pass, you get the gains, if you dont, you get 360x xanax. I OD'd twice, and I'm insuring all my jumps now. Still using the xanax that Securop sent me HERE to both train and secure my jumps, it just doesnt run out, and if I OD again (which I'm hoping to at this point), I'll get another shipment of xanax. It feels like insurance fraud when you're unlucky as I am. Best part is you get to choose how much you send and receive. I just prefer the 10x package myself.

First of all, I'm not in the area myself, I'm safe and sound. What I can do right now is limited to donating money and supplies, and praying. I was in the army just last week, so I was expecting a call back to arms, but nothing came up. My hands are tied up. One of my comrades died after his house collapsed, and there are a lot of friends that I cant contact. It's estimated that some 150.000 to 200.000 people are still under the rubble, this could get a lot worse before it gets better.
The reason I'm writing all this is that best lessons are the bitter ones. A disaster with such magnitude shines a lot of light on some things, and I want to share with you all:
Your survival in such a case depends heavily on your own preparation. Dont rely on the army in case of a disaster. Our armed forces can deploy a force anywhere in our borders in under 2 hours, yet it took almost 2 days to deploy a reasonable amount of personnel in the affected areas. A disaster is so much different compared to a warzone. Be prepared, be educated, be ready for when the worst comes to happen. Have survival kits, have a plan about where to duck when the quake hits, and have a plan about where to meet your family and friends. Simple, but a lot of people skip that.
Get some training about search and rescue if you can. I was planning to do this and I didn't. Now all I can do is sit around and wait. I could have been out there helping, and even if I froze my ass over there in the cold, it would have been better than this.
Stay the f**k out of your house if you have made it out! A lot of people went back into their homes, only to get hit by the second quake that collapsed their home on top of them. Some people died live streaming the damage to their home. Just stay out. The cold or the hot weather can tempt you to go back in, but trust me, it's colder/hotter when you're buried under tons of rubble.
Concrete kills. If you're in a low quake risk zone, and have a lot of storms and tornadoes, it could be a viable option. But otherwise, wooden/prebuilt houses with drywalls dont really crush you. Get a house that is resistant to quakes.
Be educated. There are tons of information on what to do before, during and after a quake. Take your time and read them up, please. We have lost so many people to ignorance and just plain stupidity. We literally watched some people dying, and some smart people saving themselves and others, on live TV. You dont have to be a genius, just read up. Huge amounts of info on the internet, put those smartphones to good use for once.
Now I might be rambling here, but these are thoughts that have been racing in my head this whole time as I was sitting all day, unable to do anything. Please watch yourself out there. Thank you all again for your support, and please keep the people here in your prayers.
I want to keep this simple because it can be really confusing. Turkey has 5 leagues on Bookie (Football): Turkey 1, Turkey 2, Turkey 3, Turkey 4, and finally, Turkey Cup 1. The problem is that Turkey Cup 1 matches dont show up properly. They show up either too late, or after the match starts. The same applies to Turkey 1, in the form of matches being added late.
I'm sure Turkey Cup 1 is indeed there, linked to the bookie system, I already placed a bet. The latest Fenerbahçe v Rizespor match was a really good bet, but as far as I'm concerned, it showed up too late to be any viable, I'm not even sure it was available for betting at all. Here is the main problem: In my experience, the matches are added to Torn 8-10 days before they start. In case there are too many matches, some new matches require current ones to be completed before they show up (I dont know if the actual coding reflects this, it's just what I've seen from hundreds of matches). For Turkey, there are just too many matches for Torn to handle, so some of the matches are messed up. Turkey 2, Turkey 3, and Turkey 4 leagues absolutely flood the bookie system with a whopping 180 more teams and their relevant matches. Not to mention that it's a drain on Torn's resources to buy the data from the provider for these leagues.
Proposed solution: Remove Turkey 2, Turkey 3, Turkey 4. Save money. You make profit and we get stable matches that show up on time. These leagues are trash, the matches have a really good chance of being fixed, and they arent even followed here in Turkey. Check out any previous bets on these 3 leagues to see if they are worth keeping. A stable bookie for Turkey 1 and Turkey Cup 1 is enough. I'm sure this applies to other leagues in other countries as well, hope this provides you with a clue to follow up on.
Update: Volleyball leagues in Turkey are affected as well. Football matches 7d from now on have been listed on bookie, but Volleyball matches that are 4-5 days away are yet to be listed.

Something I whipped up for my soldiers for Christmas last week. Came out pretty good considering it's all cooked in a military barracks. Turkey Saute, Roasted Chicken Liver, Rice with dried grapes, Pumpkin Pie, Beers, Energy Drinks, Raki (Turkish Alcohol, try it if you havent before), and of course; Xanax, LSD, and Ketamine.
Buying all available training. My primary stat is END and secondary stat is INT.
My stats: 9k END/4.6k INT/1.5k MAN. 15.1k total. +7 EE merits. EE will be maxed out as I unlock more merits. No inactivity, rehab as required.
Sweet Shops, Lingerie Stores, Adult Novelties and Toy Shops are preferred. The cheaper the price, the longer I'll buy, 20 to 30 weeks of training required. I'll be paying regularly without problems.
No crybabies, no weaseling out of the deal, no handing over the company to another friend without securing my training. I'm looking for a good honest deal, of which I'll honor my own part. Only fair that you honor your own part in return.
