Ranked war bonuses are the main ones. You get them by opening caches (Small Arms Cache, Medium Arms Cache, Melee Cache, Armor Cache, and Heavy Weapon Cache) which are generated by ranked wars. You can buy them for hundreds of mill on the item market or VIA traders, 90% chance of a yellow with 1 bonus, 9% chance of an orange with 1-2 weak-moderate bonuses and a 1% chance of a red with one or two strong bonuses. 

They can be made if you ‘scrap’ weapons with bonuses that suck and use the points made to buy new caches (all done in Big Al’s bunker from the points building). 

There are a handful of other weapons with bonuses such as Gold AK, handbag, poison umbrella and the likes. These are purchased for extreme amounts of money in UAE or through NPC loots

Yes they can. It’s a tiered protection, not just a cover-all. 0 day olds can’t be bountied or attacked by anyone. After their first 24 hours, they can be attacked by fellow green leaves and bountied by anyone. After the first two weeks, they have no more protections. 

Good post. Listening to the community, explaining the thoughts on it currently and how you’ll take it up with a group. Sorry to leave a YELP review of your post lol, but in the face of all the ‘ched bad’ posts, this philosophy of engagement seems to serve as proof otherwise. 

About that possible puncture chance, it may then have to puncture past Assault armor’s 20% decreased gun damage as well to remain consistent. As of right now, I believe puncture operates purely on armor rating, not armor effect.

I had an account back in elementary school, too dumb to know how to play a game that didn’t hold your hand into every action. But I remember KingAce as well. He was the highest level and farmed Robinhood for experience as Robinhood was overleveled due to spamming searching for cash. We were amazed he had a timer to wake up at night and search for cash, now I do the same with Xanax lol.

There were no factions, but everyone would add a tag to the front of our names (VIA name change) to show our ‘faction’. Me and my buddies had 3Unit in front of our name as there was 3 of us and we liked a rap group called G-Unit 😅

SUN and 39th were the biggest pre-faction factions, I was shocked to see SUN isn’t around anymore. They had a player named PunchingBag who was the real OG level one. I hear people saying Jesus who came and left before I came back, but PunchingBag was the guy. He finally leveled as much as he could before he quit, he got to like 30 something and we were all so amazed, it was super high back then lol

I can go on and on but I’m sure this isn’t entertaining to hear the possibly misremembered thoughts of an idiot from 2 decades ago

Nice man, top 2k in level and stats, one of the biggest boys in the game. Gotta chime in to say you’re so right about that level target advice being BS. I left Torn 9 months ago, I hit level 69 at somewhere around 300 days, had 12 m total. If any idiot would be a level target it would have been me, but the truth is most of Torn doesn’t hit active players to level. That’s just the way it is. I did become a human punching bag once Duke made me a mission target though. 

That whole ‘stat rank to level rank should be 1:1’ is not proper advice. Maybe it is once you’re level 100, idk, but I can say from experience that the extra HP from leveling up every time I had the chance has only helped me win fights my stats shouldn’t have won. 

You thought you could post a shitpost, but a likely elderly person with a 59 day old, level 1 account with a citizen title out shitposted you. It’s beautiful.

Every free game has pay to win, at least in Torn you’d have to pay millions to get to a passive income level to take 4 SE’s a day so it’s not really been done. Torn’s monetization is much more fair than most games, whales get a huge ramp in growth but it still takes time. It’s not like clash of clans where you can money through the time gates. Me personally, I’m a fan of Torn’s monetization strategy. Good for players, good for devs. 

Someone did a makeup filter on their pic? Oh god the humanity! If this is the case you point out for cat fishing, there must not be much of it. Meanwhile look at Colabeer’s pics, an onlyfans girl was clearly paid to hold up an ID so cola can pretend to be a sexy lizard. Much worse than a filter. Should we disable all profile pics? 

From my perspective, this grandstanding is hilarious to watch. I just came back after being gone for 9 months so I may have some of the newer developments wrong, but it seems a bunch of factions are being raided for resisting Monarch’s demands? I was coleader of a small faction, about 15 people, and Endless Endeavor and the boys raided us for weeks (possibly months? I don’t remember) for resisting their demands… 

We get it, raids suck. They’re a pain to deal with. But when your team literally did the exact same thing to a 15 man faction, don’t make a thread where you stand as the moral victor. You’re losing the game you started (your raids on us were the first of the island war). On top of that, all Monarch factions give free Xanax and point refills to all members, did you guys do that when you owned all the tt’s by proxy and extorted those proxy targets?
