September 28th is International day of awareness of food loss and waste. in other words, Dumpster Diving Day!
Suggestion for events this day are 1 to 2 energy dump search, community events about the most time dove, best item found, most trash dumped, and most expensive item dumpped.
Just think that more needs to be done with the dump, as right now you can sell most trash at the recycling shop.
So, we all love crimes 2.0, I know I do. MUCH better than "keep clicking the button". But what is next? What could be a major money-maker while keeping in line with the idea of the three job types (Cash, item, and production)?
Simply, drug making! Think about it, there are many underused chemicals, with plenty of objects that can be used in the creation process. Spoons, needles, lye, acids, formaldehyde, etc.
With production can also come brand-new mechanics to keep the gameplay interesting. One example I have thought of is making your own recipe. Of course, a basic and possibly vague recipe should be provided, but if each player can choose how to add their ingredients and what tools to use, it will add so much replayability to this job.
The payouts should be quite large, considering there are no high-paying jobs. This money could come directly from selling as part of the job, or by keeping the drugs to use or sell on the market. Different qualities of drugs should also provide different effects, letting people change away from pill pop'en
This is my seize rant, if you got any other ideas post here if you want
If we (or just a few high-level players) manage to earn enough candy to summon him twice, what would happen? twice the NPC's? two elder gods going to town on each other? Nothing at all because the devs are no fun and just want us to grind? I just hope we find out next year.
PRODUCTION: The creation of drugs, bombs, weapons, ammo, and more!
There would be two sections, "crafting" and "cooking". one for more set in stone crafts like making a bomb, make ammo, ect. Cooking, however, would be more free flow after the starting impute of ingredients.
Crafting: Similar to forgery, with tools being needed and components used. Ammo needs brass, scrape metal, and chemicals to make gunpowder. At first only basic normal ammo can be made but after leveling up rare ammo types can be made. The same is true for temps and bombs. Higher levels = IED's, the Small mail bomb, and bigger mail bombs.
Cooking: A new system to torn but should be similar to potion craft. After a set few chemicals or other "organic" drugs (weed, shrooms), you get a basic, relatively weak drug. BUT if you add more chemicals or organics, it can be improved, even to crazy levels.
Contracts would a new way for factions, individuals, or the admins to buy up large amounts of items, without having to dive through the item market and contracting random people who have posted in the trading form section.
What is a contract?
It is a form, that can be accessed from a new building. Once completed it can let anyone level 15 or up contribute items to the contract, in return for a set payout. If a faction leader is preping for a massive war, they can put a contract out there for ecans and xana's that lets anyone contribute to the amount, while paying them out even while offline.
What are the uses for this system?
It lets factions and traders directly influence the price of items on a much higher scale than ever before. It also lets people who believe they understand what items are needed for the next crime buy them up. If the admins deem it important to make an item have a higher price they can post a contract for that item. It can also be used for contests (whoever puts in the most pocketknives wins an Erotic DVD kinda thing).
How to make a contract?
You need to select an item to buy, ranging from guns, to drugs, to printers. Anything on the item market is fair game. Then you need to select the amount you want to buy, min of 10 with no max. And then you need to add the price you are willing to pay. It could be above the market value to ensure that you get a lot of them quickly or put it at a lower price if you can wait. You can also see who submits items, and who has put in the most.
What happens if I don't have the money for the full contract?
So, you put a contract out, but you used your money to buy a company? Well, Duke can fill the gap for you! If you don't have enough Cash on hand, Duke will cover your debt. All you got to do is ensure that you pay that rat basted back.
Why should we have this?
It would be fun. And it could help newer people find a safe and non scammy way to sell any rare city drops they have.

Ok, just wondering tho why wait until now? It seems you had the idea to do this before Halloween (when your marriage partner was kicked out of the company), so why do it now when people need to travel to kill the NPC's? Not that mad (I am low stats so not like I could fight the NPC's) just wondering.

Anyone know if the event gear can be sold on the Item market? I feel like next Halloween we will see this same event, or possibly even worse/more enemies to kill.
