With both the cameras and checkpoint disabled at TC clothing, I'm seeing results that mention one or the other status but not both at the same time. e. g. Mention of disabled camera in one, broken checkpoint the next attempt but not both in the same response.
You wander into the clothes store with your hands in your pockets. Taking them out to avoid looking shifty, you visit the accessories stand next to the counter. As you try on a few hats and glasses, the clerk wanders off into the back room. Looking up, you see the store's security camera is enabled, but that's a problem for future you. The baseball cap in your hand isn't tagged, so you're able to wear it out of the store without being noticed.

This is funny. Try a fireworks stand first maybe, or a few days in city jobs to get a bit of work stats.
I like having to mix things up, it's starting to feel like crimes could become their own minigame of sorts. Like you log on, check which store has their cameras off, rob it until your notoriety gets too high, then use the rest of your nerve to keep up your DVD supply or fill in graffiti that got cleaned. I'm imagining more systems similar to the existing ones, with a difference between ones where you want to repeatedly do one specific crime (like graffiti to get your area rep up) and some that require mixing up more stuff like this shoplifting crime.
I like this method. I would almost be honored to be on that list
