Yesterday I advertised starting an independent banking business in torn. Many people commented saying that I would lack credibility and that it seemed like a scam. After reading all the comments, i can see where they are coming from. Do any of you have suggestions on creating a good reputation so that people are willing to do business? Are there ways to police an independent business in torn so that investors have trust/insurance?
New pawn shop! Pawn items for 70% of value and receive loan for up to one week with 1% daily fee. Value will be based on lowest price on the item market, unless it is an outlier (5% or more lower than the next priced item). When you pawn with me, you will get a link to a spreadsheet so that you can see your item as well as the current fee, deadline, etc.. fee will be required to close pawn. High ticket items will be displayed in display case. Low value items will be accepted in bundles (think cheap plushies and flowers) Feel free to ask clarifying questions on this thread. It's on the honor system. I'm just wanting to expand the gameplay/ be entrepreneurial. I know that some players will just take the money and run and I won't have any recourse 🤣
You would recieve a loan that is worth 70% of the value of the item being pawned. Example: if you pawn item worth 1,000,000, you would receive 700,000. If you wanted to reclaim the item after 5 days, you would pay a 5% fee of 35,000 + 700,000 loan.
