I'd like to start collecting things, specifically 1 of like every item in the game, and cars.

 

I'm wondering if there's a script that could help me see if I already have an item in my display case, so I dont have to wonder if I own it.

 

I was sure there was a way to see if something is in your display case by default, but I can't find it. May have been a fever dream 😭

 

Any help would be appreciated!

As it says in the title, Awareness week seems to have reset the items that had previously spawned in my city.

About 14 days ago, I started to read my Finders Keepers book to increase my awareness in time for Awareness week. My plan was to stop picking up items, and see how much money I could accumulate after the 31 day period, just for fun. The day before Awareness week started, I had about $56m in the city untouched. However, yesterday, when I looked in the city, all of the items were gone (leading me to think that perhaps something with Awareness week may have caused it). I thought it might fix itself after a reset the next day, but unfortunately it has not haha.

If it helps, I have also had no items spawn since awareness week started, which is strange b/c I have max merits for awareness, as well as the 2500% from the Finders Keepers book, so you'd think that something would spawn (maybe its just bad RNG for me, but maybe it'll help you out :D ).

I don't have a picture of my city before it got scrapped (sorry, I even tried looking through recordings of mine to see if maybe I glimpsed it for a second, to no avail), but I can show how empty it is now XD .

I'm playing Torn almost exclusively on my PC (using Opera GX as the browser), with Torntools enabled. I did try to sign in to an untouched browser with no plugins or anything (Microsoft Edge in my case), but it did nothing to reset my city, or the like.

Well that was interesting! Could've sworn I've tried zooming in before, but I guess not. When I zoomed in, Torn had a bit of an aneurysm (lagged), then they just showed up again! Yikes, to think it was that simple... XD

That is one hell of an achievement, good job!

I do love the idea, seems like a great one! The one thing that comes to my mind is petty/annoying people, let me explain. When there are arguments on a post about someone/their bazaar, the person can defend themselves, and the public can decide whether or not the accuser makes a good point, or if they're just complaining about something stupid. However, with this, if someone hated you enough, they could spend a lot of money at your bazaar, and then rate it super low, potentially screwing you over with other customers. If we just add on some thing, where people have to rate but also leave a comment, that would be an easy solution. Other than my pessimism, sounds great!

I'm available all days, can go from 0000-0800 / 1500-0000 TCT, and would love to run a group! :D
