Ingredients:

olive oil, harissa seasoning/paste, med. onion, fresh parsley, peppers (your choice of spice level), garlic, salt, tomato sauce, cannelloni beans, egg(s)

Prep:

Chop fresh parsley, keep the stems. Chop onion, peppers, garlic.

Heat pan with olive oil at medium low, add generous helping of Harissa paste or powder, fry to bloom the flavor, add onion, parsley stems, peppers (bell, jalapeño, any other kind), salt, saute. Add garlic towards the end.

Deglaze pan with a liquid (chicken stock, vinegar, water, wine, take your pick) then add tomato sauce and can of cannelloni beans. Simmer for 10 minutes stirring occasionally.

Once pepper sauce has firmed up add half of the reserved Parsley, use a spoon to create divots for the egg(s), crack egg(s) into divots, cover pan and continue to simmer until whites are cooked and yolk is still runny.

Serve with fresh parsley on top, bread or naan makes a great scoop for eating.

Spice level is up to you depending how much harissa used and what kind of peppers. I like using Thai Chillies or Habaneros, but Jalepeno might be easier for most Americans or even something like Serranos if you can't hang with the heat.

Try it and let me know what you think!

Anyone else playing Dispatch? ·

I've played the first two chapters and so far am very impressed with the quality and storytelling. The core, titular mini game mechanic - dispatching heroes is really fun as well. I'm really hoping after the 8th release they let you go into an unlimited dispatch mode and just keep playing after the story ends!

It reminds me a lot of other meaningful choice games such as The Wolf Among Us.

I got my boyfriend into playing torn recently and have had no problems, we use different devices and don't share a PC so no risk of accidentally using the other's account. I don't even know his phone or PC password and prefer not to know.

Now how long before he realizes I'm married in torn for the purposes of sharing a private island, we'll see..  😅

Why do people like spicy food? · · 1 like

When I cook curry I usually use about 10-16 birds eye chilis and an equal amount of fresh ginger. If dinner is spicy enough to make you sweat then it's a good meal!

Macroflation is right tho. It's somewhat about the endorphins, I think it's also about flavor palettes. In South Eastern Asia and China they mix and blend the 5 primary flavors expertly to create some really fantastic culinary experiences and spiciness modifies the impact of those dishes. If you can't handle any spice because you grew up thinking black pepper was hot you're missing out on a lot of interesting and varied cousine.

Happy 2023, has any third party api already solved this problem and created a searchable index of goods by price sold that includes more than the 3 lowest bazaar prices and a million item market items? Bonus points if it had advanced sort capabilities like for item quality or # in stock.
