since the release of shoplifting to crimes 2.0, the prices of tons of clothing items have been drastically lowering. this is one of the best things to happen for this game in my opinion. i very recently paid $995 for a top that, just a few months ago, would've costed something like $38 million dollars. (i remember this price because i was kinda saving up to buy it!) so to celebrate these things, to find and share some inspiration, and because basically no one will ever see most of your clothing, i want to make this thread a place for people to show off their best/favorite/craziest outfits! lets see some creativity... or whatever else you've been hiding beyond your armor.
also, i would love to hear your ideas about clothes in torn like what you'd like to see added, fixed, removed, whatever. CLOTHES CLOTHES I WANT MORE CLOTHES!

update: for anyone having trouble posting their pics, you can upload the edited and cropped screenshot of your outfit to your profile pictures and get the link from right there. it took me waaaay too long to find that out.

true story: one time when i was doing time in jail, i had a trustee job where i served trays and mopped the floor in the protective custody/solitary confinement pod. and there was this kid who was 18 years old and going away for 62 years on multiple arson charges. he was in solitary because he had terrible behavior. one behavior he had was he would purposely flood his cell by stuffing things in his toilet and repeatedly flushing it. so all hours of the day and night, they'd have to take him out of his cell and call me up there to mop the whole pod. sometimes he'd be nice and apologetic, telling me he was bored and "wanted to go to splash town" (local poor man's water park) and other times he'd be antagonistic, calling me his "little snow bunny" (im white and he was mexican) and often saying "show me your butthole! is it pink or is it purple?" quite entertaining.
naw you don't owe me a penny. i paid you for services rendered. though your haiku did leave much to be desired, you get what you pay for i guess. in this new light, knowing you're one of them it makes a lot more sense now why it was like pulling teeth trying to get you to do something creative to earn your money instead of just begging strangers for it.

do you think it would make more sense or read more correct if we removed the comma from the first sentence? is that the poorly-placed comma? cuz i never saw it like that before but if the comma is ill-placed and confuses the sentence, i definitely want to fix that.
wrong again. not surprised that every person who's eager to talk shit about my faction didn't spend 4 seconds reading the faction's description though. it clearly states that allies are welcome. one of our members is an ally. have to point out though that even IF allies weren't welcome, that would not be bigotry equal to a homophobe. if a marginalized group creates a space for themselves and they decide to exclude people who are in the same group as their oppressor, that is not a power dynamic anywhere close to the one that prevents/prevented marriage equality and other human rights being given to lgbtq people. "no straights allowed in this space" would not be the same thing as the hegemonic power structure that is the very reason we need our own spaces. their space is everywhere else, they're the dominant culture.
some people didn't think this was fun but instead of just scrolling by they decided to be insulting with some ad hominems and weirdly get stuck on not understanding what my faction's description says.

then two more people show up and spend way too much time proving my point, being generally confusing, overreacting to things no one said, and saying weird nonsense like i should report people for things that didnt happen like harassing(?) me after advertising my sexuality(?) or for offending me(?)
