I’ve been thinking a lot about how we can spice things up in Torn, and I wanted to propose something new: adding steroids and tren as new in-game drugs. These would add more depth to gameplay, especially for those of us who focus on gym stats and warring. Here’s what I’m thinking:
1. Steroids
Effects: Provides a significant boost to gym gains, allowing for faster progression in strength and dexterity.
Drawbacks: Prolonged use reduces all battle stats (strength, defense, speed, and dexterity) significantly. You can’t rehab it immediately; you’ll need to wait in real-time based on your addiction status before your stats return to normal.
Addiction Level: Moderate. Taking it too much could result in dependency, making it harder to recover.
2. Tren
Effects: Major increase in gym gains, enhancing strength and endurance for faster improvement in your stats.
Drawbacks: Like steroids, prolonged use reduces all battle stats (strength, defense, speed, and dexterity), making you more vulnerable in combat. Rehabilitation isn’t instant, and the wait time will depend on your addiction level, making strategic use essential.
Addiction Level: High. Tren users will see massive benefits, but breaking the addiction is tougher, with significant penalties across all battle stats during withdrawal.
Why Add These Drugs?
Torn already has a variety of drugs with different effects, but nothing that directly impacts gym stats and battle performance in a more realistic way. Adding steroids and tren would provide new strategies for those who focus on gym performance. Whether it’s speeding up your training for a faction war or maximizing your gym gains, these drugs could give more choices in how we play the game.
Balancing
I understand that adding powerful drugs like these could unbalance the game, but with the right side effects and penalties (like reductions in all battle stats and real-time rehabilitation), it could become a strategic decision whether or not to use them.
What do you all think? Would adding steroids and tren bring a new level of depth to Torn? Would love to hear your feedback and ideas on how to make this balanced and fun!
i can't seem to be able to enter some tables and if enter one the page doesn't change at all here is a photo and thank you for your time disabling tt did not fix the issue[image: media.discordapp.net]
i did that and it actually worked fine it's one of my extensions that is tampering with the game i will disable them one by one to figure it out , update: no not one of them but the incognito works fine so it's a problem with configurations i guess
