Plot twist: the “making of the babies” could increase happiness, but you’re dealt with a daily spoiler (*sorry, no babysitter: no fly*, colicky babies, no sleep, spoiled milk, someone spikes your child’s bottles, etc) if you didn’t buy proper protection (costs more than the PI) and your happiness decreases at a faster rate. Also, baby abduction could be a crime/sell for smol profit since it’s a smol child; think of all the vengeful attacks that would consume the residents of Torn.
That’s the joy of Mau, you have to play by trial and error. I originally played this with cards, and a game master. You’re usually given one extra card for “failure to \insert hidden rule\”. The object is to be the last one playing
