This is my first thread and as a player with only a year of experience, i can say, you locked the Torn City from new players. I personaly get from the total sewer via running the plushies and flowers. To be fair, this income is nearly dead. New players will have now less chance to catch or even compete with the more experience players. Yes, you decribed the positives, but be aware, that torn is getting older and older. Without this faucet for new players, you are locking torn and it will by years start to cease. Because: Old players are maybe loyal, but they will be only older and older and, sorry to say it this way, be dead once. After that, you should check if there is even enough player generation and sustainability. I see this major flaw in the plan. Yes, nice faucet from crimes 2.0. I agree, but that is maybe 20% of income in comparision with plushies. With this move, you make Torn less accessible towards the new players.

Even me personally i get to the torn more after plushie running. Untill that moment, i was just wandering arround and just getting here once a day. Because i had no options how to make serious money. Going to job in army and other stuff? For that funny small wage? What i can buy for it? Live in a shack maybe for ever. Be in an Faction? Who wants to have a rock on the feet in the faction and a player, which is unable to attack even a sheep plushie without a damage?

Find a better job? Which with the job stats at 0? I was lucky that somebody gave me a chance and invested into me dozens of torn dolars. I can say only huge thank you to Nodelore he get me a hit. 

But now? Who has this much luck? Not everyone.

Setting the pawn shop to a lower point will be better. Opportunity for muggers? Yes, that is the answer. Sell points and the new accounts which will sell them will be robbed. 

Torn will be extinct in the future. This is the end of the fall i predict, because now, new players are doomed.

Like thanks for advice, but instead of nerfing and stuff, get more options. As i say it before, the racing could be much more interesting and valuable. It could be as a company. You can connect it with some companies allready existing. Salt mines can have byproduct. If you want to build a fast car, you can try to do like aluminium chasis, or carbon fibre for higher racing series, you can have experienced personel. Based on existing stats allready in jobs, but you can improve buildings of the team which can be buyed to equalize less experienced staff... Like i see huge potential not used in the racing part. This is literally too basic. You can have spec series team, settings slider, weather forecast... literally, it can be really in depth. Like allready there are dozens of management games, but none is connecting something even else like an outside world (Torn). If i will say, doing this instead of tweaking some mechanics could refresh the game. And! Basics is: Rental Karts. 

Like yeah, easyer sayed then done. But i can at least provide some advice from the theory side. And i think plenty of you too. I bet here are too some enthusiasts about IRL Racing like Nascar, WRC, IRC, Dakar, Formula 1, IndyCar, BTCC, Formula E or stuff...

If it would be me, i will personaly redefine racing here. Like that part of the game looks to me like a unfinished thing. I see one stat for the driver, other stats are only for the car. You can earn nothing from it, only experience. I can personaly say, that some system i allready played could be simplyfied and thrown into Torn. 

I see similiar systems here in other mechanics. Like having 4 stats of the person here is pretty similiar to 4 basic stats for racing IRL:
Speed
Cornering
Braking
Endurance

Like i see huge potential to find not a faucet, but a way how to make another place where players can enjoy and possibly earn money. Those competitions writed in DC groups and stuff... Nice to have, but not official. 

In the world there are several competitions, why do not try to make similiar system and even possibility to have a bookie on it? This is beyond me, why this mechanics are that darn simple and unfinished. 

Tornmula 1 will be really interesting, you allready have flights towards other countries. How hard it would be to create a specific circuit at specific country and having a team which you need to travell to that destination to compete with the others? 

Asking, i do not know, but this would be complex and at least a legal way how to earn money. Even, there could be connection with companies which can sponsor the teams with some perks as an option. 

Just wondering, why we are nerfing, when there are still unused possibilities. If it would be, i will be the first one who will want to own or race for a team.

As i say, some players are not so lucky to have great mentors, or you are a smurf account with dozens of experience, but your forgotten your login credentials. Otherwise it is beyond me how you can have that level. And i am literally honnest in my words. I am here daily. 

Again: New players. Like it is beyond me, how you gone to level 34 with a younger account. I didnt have enough luck to have probably a good mentor, or you had an account, which you lost before and you know well what to do, or you had a really great mentor.

It will be dead, the price for point will go lower and lower, so the value of the sets in museum will drop drastically. Only good, what is bringing this is for players which are beyond the begining. We can now have cheaper merrits for the exchange. But the newbies? 

Torn will be a dead valley in years to come. It is not about you, or even me. But the growth of torn and torn getting older and older playerbase. 

For etc.: I am IRL 33 years old. Maybe i will be here untill my death, expecting somewhere approx 70 years. Torn is here for several years.

So i have active 37 year maximum as a peak. But i know, some players are here beyond 65 and having playing this from nearly the start. What about those players? You want to make torn accounts as a value to sell? I think that is prohibited by rules, but you will be forcing players to do those shenaningans... 

As i say, Torn will extinct. This is the base stone of ceasing. Lowering the pawn shop price would be reasonable solution, but not taking this opportunity for new players. 

And the plushies will be sold with losses. Mostly the players which are generously buying the plushies from plushie runners in trades will be not interested anymore. Because: The risk of loss is now high, they cannot selll points safely. Maybe the strongest and oldest accounts can. But the middle is screwed. Mugger paradise. 

That is the reasone of locking Torn. Even a razor wire will not be that effective as this is. Market Value will drop, massivelly now. My interest to plushies is ceasing, now i am trying my last flight. I know i will be mugged, because i will be forced to sell it in market. So no to laughable profit. 

As i say, i need to find another solution, or i may disappear from the game too. Again: As a new player, this was your nearly only option, how you can get from the sewer at least in half decent pace. But i understand, you do not need to care at all.
