It'd be cool if Valentines' Day gave a large buff to the number of marks you can pull from sending out a 'Romance scam' email spam wave, perhaps with a slight reduction in difficulty on the scams.
The lore is basically that it'd be easier to scam desperate people around Valentines' Day.
So, I started trying a few casino skimmers when I was around 80-85 crime skill and noticed I was losing a ton of skimmers in a very short period (mere hours). I finally hit 100 crime skill, so I figured I'd try a casino skimmer again. Lost in 6 hours.
Is the discovery rate actually supposed to be this high? It feels like the rate is so unreasonably high that it's simply not possible to have these skimmers be efficient or profitable compared to other locations.
Once your store is open and begins to gain popularity, it can be very hard to keep a stock of DVD's built up, even if you're using alcohol to boost your nerve. With the high-speed drive, at some point you reach a level where you're basically selling your DVD's as fast as you can copy them. Allowing players to close their online store would allow them to build up a healthy stockpile of DVD's for when they re-open their store. This would be especially helpful when there are unique outcomes when selling, as if you don't have any stock to sell, you can't use the "Sell DVDs" option.
I checked multiple times this year and didn't appear to get a drop. Interestingly, I didn't get a cupcake during the recent 20th anniversary event, either. I have +200% attention from merits.

I swear, praying adds some sort of hidden base modifier. I have merits and education for awareness, and I will not find anything for weeks sometimes. Pray once, the next day, I suddenly have ~3 items.

I have noticed that even on my zero-heat rig, overclocking would occasionally reset to default (none) when making cracking attempts while playing on my phone. It doesn't seem to happen when playing on my PC, so this is very likely a bug. Either that, or I'm unintentionally swiping the overclocking off when using my phone.
OMG you have to be trolling or something is wrong with your brain. Their profile picture is literally just a generic picture of a depiction of a 'Steampunk' character.
