I think they meant they need help with a fair price for buying a company, not the price of the products. Though if they weren't, this rrp doesn't apply to some companies. In my own experience, when I ran a candle shop keeping it around 110% of RRP rather than 115% of RRP gave me more returns!
For prices of companies I would go off this but not sure if anyone has made a new more updated version
