Torn Stock Analyzer (TSA) — User Guide
A userscript for the Torn stocks page that scores all
35 stocks for buy signals, tracks your benefit blocks
and swing trades, plans your next benefit-block
purchase by ROI, and gives you one-click trade buttons
that respect Torn's "1 click = 1 action" rule.

Setup
1. Install the script from Greasy Fork (search "Torn
Stock Analyzer").
2. Open the Torn stocks page. The first time, click
the floating TSA button (bottom-right) and paste your
Torn API key when asked. Stored locally in your
browser only — never sent anywhere else.
3. After a few refreshes the script builds up its own
price-history cache so the scoring math gets sharper.
Give it a day or two to fully calibrate.

The Quick Trade bar
A panel pinned to the top of the stocks page so you
can buy and sell without scrolling.
- Search box — type a stock acronym to pick it.
- ▼ minimize — folds the panel down to a thin strip.
- ✎ edit — change/add/remove the dollar-amount buttons
(your custom presets).
- 🔒 Benefit Lock (on by default) — when checked,
sells will only touch your "extra" shares, never the
ones locked into a benefit tier. Turn off if you want
to sell everything.
Two rows of dollar buttons — green for buy ▲, red for
sell ▼ — with an ALL at the end of each row.
- Buy $5M → buys $5M worth of the selected stock (or
whatever you can afford if you don't have $5M —
partial buy is fine).
- Sell $5M → sells about $5M worth of shares (capped
to what you actually own; respects Benefit Lock if
on).
- Buy ALL → spends every dollar you have on that
stock.
- Sell ALL → sells every share you own of that stock
(still respecting Benefit Lock).
Below the buttons, when relevant, you'll see a 💡
yellow recommendation button suggesting the smartest
tier-completion buy for you right now (one-click buys
the exact shares needed). If you can't afford the full
tier, it tells you "Need $X more" — partial buys
don't unlock the benefit, so it won't fire a wasted
trade.
You can also toggle on a mini-chart with 1d / 3d / 7d
/ All timeframes if you want to eyeball a stock before
pulling the trigger.
How a trade actually fires
To stay within Torn's scripting rules, every trade
needs two clicks from you:
1. First click on a dollar amount → the panel opens
that stock's trade form on the page, fills in the
share count, and clicks Buy/Sell so the page shows
"Confirm Transaction".
2. Click the same amount again → the panel clicks
Confirm. Trade goes through.
If you change your mind, just click a different amount
or pick a different stock — the first click resets to
the new choice.

The TSA overlay (floating button)
Click the TSA button in the bottom-right to open the
analysis overlay. This is where the scoring and
planning lives.
🥇 Top 5 buy list
The five highest-scoring stocks to buy right now,
based on four indicators:
1. Drop from weekly peak — how far the price has
fallen versus its own weekly high (cheaper than usual
= more interesting).
2. Position in short-term range — where the price sits
inside its last ~2 days' high/low (low end = better
entry).
3. Trend reversal — is the price actually rising right
now? Last 30 min higher than the previous hour, etc.
4. MACD — a momentum indicator. Best score when
momentum has just flipped from down to up (a
"crossover").
5. RSI — bonus points if the stock is unusually
oversold compared to its own RSI history.
Each row shows:
- Stock symbol + a small ↑/↓ arrow with the % move
since the last refresh.
- Two-word reason — the strongest things the score
noticed.
- Investor delta over 24 h — green if more investors
are entering, red if leaving.
- The score number.
- A signal label (more on these below).
- A 📌 pin button — pin a stock so it stays at the top
even when other scores rise.
The row's background colour tells you about your
relationship with the stock:
- 🟢 Green tint — you don't own any.
- 🟡 Amber tint — you own some "swing" shares (extras
you'd be willing to flip).
- 🔵 Blue tint — you own a benefit-block tier in this
stock (locked shares).
Tap a row → expands a breakdown showing exactly how
each indicator contributed to the score, plus a "BB
width" bar (how volatile the stock has been).
🔍 Watch list
Stocks you already own with a moderate score (45–74) —
not high enough for Top 5 but worth keeping an eye
on. Hide it from settings if you don't care.
💼 Swing trades
Stocks you bought to flip for profit (anything you own
beyond what's locked into a benefit tier).
Each row shows your average buy price, current live
price, how long you've held it, and total profit/loss
in $ and %. The number is after Torn's 0.1% sell fee.
You'll get an alert (toast + optional notification)
when any swing trade hits:
- 🟢 PROFIT — your profit target (set in settings,
default ~5%).
- 🔴 STOP LOSS — your stop-loss limit (set in
settings).
Tap a swing row → expands to show every separate buy
you made of that stock as Block 1, Block 2, Block 3…
with the date, shares, price, and per-block
profit/loss.
Tap a Block → sells exactly those shares (two-tap,
like the Quick Trade bar). If you've already sold part
of that lot, the click sells whatever you still own
from it.
🏛️ Benefit blocks
Stocks where you hold a tier (T1, T2, T3…) for the
periodic dividend (cash, items, or stat refills).
These are tracked separately from swing trades because
they're not meant to be flipped — they pay you on a
schedule. The Benefit Lock on the Quick Trade bar
protects them from accidental selling.
📈 ROI Planner
The big strategy section. It looks at:
- Your cash + swing capital + armory funds.
- Your current weekly income from the benefit blocks
you already hold.
- The prices of every possible benefit tier.
…and tells you what to do next:
- Next move — the highest-ROI tier you should aim for
(its cost, how short you are, and an estimated
days-to-afford countdown).
- 🔗 Bridgebuilder — sometimes it's smarter to buy a
small cheap tier first (more weekly income → reach the
big target faster). The planner does the math and
suggests the chain.
- 💸 Sell candidates — if you own a low-ROI tier
that's dragging, the planner may suggest swapping it
for the better one.
- Income — your current weekly income, broken down per
stock with the actual reward name (e.g. "SYM (Drug
Pack) $8M · TCT (Cash) $1M…").
The 💡 button on the Quick Trade bar is the planner's
top pick condensed into one click.

Heads up: even with great technicals, if the entry
window has closed (price already rallied off its low,
or above its weekly average, or RSI is overbought),
the label automatically downgrades to CONSIDER. The
score stays high so you can see the technical setup is
there — but the label is telling you the timing's
off. Don't chase it.

Settings
Click the ⚙️ in the panel header.
- Profit target / Stop loss % — drives the swing trade
PROFIT/STOP LOSS alerts.
- Auto-refresh — minutes between automatic data
refreshes (0 = manual only).
- Top 5 minimum score — raise to be pickier (e.g. 50 =
only show stocks with strong setups).
- Require positive investors — extra filter: only show
stocks where the investor count is growing.
- Show Watch list — toggle the owned-stocks-watching
panel.
- Theme — light / dark.

What TSA never does (transparency)
- Only talks to Torn's official API (api.torn.com) —
never scrapes regular Torn pages, never fakes clicks
anywhere except as the natural continuation of your
click on a TSA button.
- Reads the stocks page only when you have it open —
never pulls data from background tabs.
- Two-tap requirement for trades is deliberate: 1 of
your clicks = 1 trade action, exactly what Torn's
scripting rules require.
external servers, no telemetry, no analytics.
- No CAPTCHA bypass, no automation of
jail/hospital/etc. — purely a stocks helper.

the dollar buttons.

tier to save up for next.
5. Keep Benefit Lock on so you never accidentally sell
your tier shares.
