3:1 or 2:1 is fine too lol just thought you guys were all really confident that DiS would take it.
Baiting aside, if DiS is truly a lock in win (as implied by the thread previously) I don't see how 5:1 is that far fetched. It gives DiS an 83% win chance to TNL's 17% which is hardly a lock in for the favored team. 3:1 gives DiS 75% chance to win to TNL's 25% and 2:1 gives DiS a 67% chance to win to TNL's 33% and 1:1 implies both teams have a 50% chance to win.
So basically the thread reads to me as "DiS is going to take it, TNL has no chance, but both teams still actually have a 50% chance to win but its going to for sure be DiS" the math ain't mathing there unless its all just posturing and the odds are 50/50.
I feel like 1:1 is most accurate but that's because I believe in TNL and also know DiS fights hard.That said, the confidence everyone has in DiS makes it make sense to up the odds despite my personal opinions/confidence though.

Are you saying the odds should be 50/50 on who will take it? Because I agreed that was most accurate from my point of view already. All the reasons you listed just adds more justification for higher odds. If TNL seems to lack confidence then I don't see how that results in 50/50 odds. If there was a misunderstanding and you thought I was questioning why there was or wasn't confidence, I was not, my only point was that, regardless of the reasons why, there's high community confidence in one team and a lack of confidence in the other which in a normal betting scenario results in higher odds 🤷♂️
DiS is a great, hard fighting faction and I'd expect nothing less than you guys going quadruple ass here lol hope my previous posts didn't seem like they were dissing you guys in any way (pun intended)

Lol I mean 90% of the bets in the thread are in favor of DiS so imo the community set the odds here and after seeing drac win like 700m+ on 5:1 odds previously, I didn't want to miss out on a nice payday again.
In all honesty I've never warred against TNL or even with TNL but even after facing DiS I don't doubt TNL which, as drac said, is why I placed the bet to begin with. Same reason I bet on TNL against ESC previously :)
