Oh my gosh, this is so triggering. DSLA pulled the same exact thing to me 6 months ago.So this is clearly a long standing practice.

 

They took boxing gloves off me and then laughed about it.

 

What madeit worse was a few days later they "apologized" and sent a package that listed aboxing gloves inside, but instead was a several horsehead.

 

Straight up scamming jerk.

There is a weapon classification bug within the Duke missions "an honorary degree" which requires no guns, however it registered gun use when none was used.

I attacked the target using only a flame thrower, hand grenade and chainsaw. None of these items are guns, yet the mission failed.

If the mission requires no guns equipped when attacking, then the mission description needs to be updated.

If the mission means no firearms (primary or secondary) used, then it needs to be updated in the instructions.

It's also possible that because the target used a gun it got registered, and if that's the case the criteria for mission success needs to exclude the target.

If the mission is intended that there be no guns used, then I suspect that the flamethrower was misclassified as a gun and needs to be reclassified, as it is most definitely not a gun.

I'd like to have the mission credited to me please, both the standing and the rewards

Please forgive my ignorance to this cause. What benefit does this serve? I'm but a newer player and still not fully comprehending the ecosystem of this vast game.

That should be clarified within n the mission wording. It's clear that there is confusion over flamethrower status as it relates to "gun"
