For the last several years, the "Racing UI/UX Enhancements" script by Lugburz has become a vital tool for many in the Torn racing community — myself included. With Lugburz having quit the game, however, I have (with his blessing) taken over management of the script so that it can stay functional and continue adding important features in the future.

While my version of the script has remained largely the same from Lugburz's final version, I have made some tweaks to improve performance and will continue to do so in the future. Most notably, this version of the script is now compatible with Torn PDA! So all of you mobile users can now benefit from the same awesome features as those on PC.

Current Features

• Racing Skill adds up to 5 digits after the decimal point, allowing for easier tracking of progress.
• "Last gain" displays the amount of RS gained since your last race on this device (if you race on both PDA and PC on different devices, for example, this number may appear artificially large).
• Last gain can also optionally appear as a notification when you first visit the racing screen after completing a race.
• Shows the exact time when you will be able to join an official race after you left the previous one (due to the 15 minute cooldown).

• Previously awarded custom car skins are supported. Please see this post for more information: https://www.torn.com/forums.php#/p=threads&f=21&t=16157684&b=0&a=0&start=60&to=21635817
• Race results are shown as soon as the race has started, including final position, total time, and best lap time (this can be toggled off if desired).
• Racing Skill of all racers is pulled from the API and displayed. This feature requires a Public API key, which is stored locally on your device and cannot be accessed by others.
• On mobile devices, the space for this information can be cramped depending on your screen size. In those situations, you can scroll horizontally to view all of it.

• A Settings box on the racing screen where individual features can be toggled on and off. This is also where you can input a Public API key if you would like Racing Skill values displayed for individual participants in a race.
• A link to the current race, particularly useful for tournament directors who need to collect race links for tracking purposes.
• An option to convert the race results into a CSV file. On desktop, this will directly download the file. On PDA, due to in-app browser limitations, it will only allow you to copy the results to your clipboard so you can paste it in a different application.

A few weeks ago, I accidentally sold my Tell Group Plc. stocks and lost the company advertising boost for my mining corp. Interestingly, though, I didn't notice any substantial drop in sales until several days after, right after I happened to increase my advertising budget fairly substantially (the opposite of what should happen with an ad budget increase). This made me curious if the passive benefit of the stock block doesn't trigger or get removed unless a change in advertising budget happens, which doesn't seem like it's working as intended (hence the bug report).

I did some basic testing over the course of a few weeks, and the findings seem to support this bug theory. I shared a graph below (that's a bit of a mess) to try to visualize it, and here is a description:

• I lost the TGP block benefit before 7/9, but didn't notice any substantial changes to sales until 7/16 when my ad budget increased by $1 million (I'm withholding exact numbers for privacy, but can share them privately).
• I increased my ad budget by another $2 million before 7/18, which had the intended effect of increasing sales. I also repurchased TGP to start the 7-day waiting period for the block to become active.
• The TGP block became active before 7/24, but I didn't notice any meaningful changes to revenue over the next several days.
• The smoking gun: before 7/27, I decreased my ad budget by a single dollar to see if it the tiniest change would trigger the effect of the stock block. Immediately, my revenue went WAY higher over the next 5 days.

I had no changes to my employee roster, their company positions, environment, or my pricing over the course of this experiment, and variations of employee efficiency were small and normal.

This whole ordeal wasn't a huge deal for me, but it could hypothetically be exploited by someone getting the block active, setting their budget to the place they want it, and then selling the block — keeping the block benefit indefinitely while freeing up the money to be used elsewhere.

Anyway, the TL;DR is this: The TGP stock block seems to only gain or lose its effect when a company's ad budget changes, and that doesn't appear to be its intended effect. Cheers!
