I'm not sure if this is a bug. Looking through our faction's past OC logs, we have only seen cases where reusable items get lost. Ciallo [2554043], who played the Reviver in a Manifest Cruelty operation, lost the Car Battery.

I've requested the relevant logs from him:

05:56:05 - 18/12/25 You lost 1x Car Battery during SMTH - Phoenix Nirvana's Manifest Cruelty scenario

I would like to confirm whether this is a bug, or a special rule exclusive to the Car Battery. In Hostile Takeover, the Muscle role requires a China Lake as a reusable item. We have lent a yellow China Lake from the faction armoury to the Muscle, and this worked as intended.

If China Lakes can also be lost upon OC failure, I will need to warn participants to take care of their high-quality China Lakes.
