Spoilers for season 1-4 of the anime (where I am right now, so please don't spoil it.)
Nighteye: I hate his role and love it. When he's first introduced, everyone kind of hates him, right? Like, he's really mean to Deku and kind of a jerk. As he appears more, you start to see more sides of him and are like "oh, ok, he's fine." Then, during the raid, you start being like "huh I kinda like him he's cool." It's not until HIS LITERAL DEATHBED SCENE that pretty much anyone's like "awww I love him." Then he just dies. Very powerful role, you can tell a writer writes something well when you're genuinely crying over a fictional character. That's the creative, writery side of me. The other side is just screaming "WHY DID HE HAVE TO DIE." Anyone else have the same thoughts for him?
(TLDR: Very strong but sad character arc)
All Might: Why does he get so much hate? Like, in the show he's loved, but like the whole fandom hates him? Is it just the people I happen to see? Like, I get that he makes mistakes, but he seems like a genuinely decent guy. Definitely undeserving of both the love and the hate he gets. Can anyone (without spoiling stuff I haven't watched,) explain?

Magne: ...EXCUSE ME? She just got like killed, and it was somewhat acknowledged, but mainly by the LoV. I feel like there definitely should have been an episode of them dealing with the grief of her death (oh fanfic idea.) I also love that when Overhaul misgendered her, Toga and Twice were immediately correcting him. She was a well-written character, and one of the more likeable of the villains, along with Twice and Compress.

I also have opinions on the whole hero system (like, why are vigilantes such a big thing?) Stain, most characters of class 1-A, but this satisfies my infodumping for now. I'd love other opinions!
It is. MHA is a little slow paced, but if you get through the boring bits it's really good. And Spy x Family is hilarious and definitely worth watching.
Finished Sk8 the Infinity a few months ago. Amazing. Very gay. Highly recommend. Currently watching Spy x Family and MHA. The movie Suzume is awesome too. I haven't watched it in forever, though.
