Quick analysis of this strategy let's say you bet 10k, 10k on even/odd = 50% chance, 10k on black/red also = 50%, 19-36 = 50%, Now this is how they overlap, There is a (100*0.5*0.5)) 12.5% chance of losing 30k, (100*0.5*0.5) 25% chance of losing 10k, 0% of breaking even, 25% chance of gaining 10k and 12.5% chance of winning 30k. That would be if the zero in Roulette did not exist. So the chance's are slightly skewed into you losing. So the actual figures look like this. Chance of 10k on even/odd = 48.3% chance, 10k on black/red also 48.8% chance, 19-30 = 48.3% chance. If we were to re calculate the overlap of this, it would look like this, a (0.517*0.517*0.517) 13.8% chance of losing 30k, a (0.517*0.517) 26.7% chance of losing 10k, a (0.483*0.483) 23.3% chance of winning 10k and a (0.483*0.483*0.483) 11.2% chance of winning 30k. That means that there is a 48.3% chance of winning cash when you roll, a 0% chance of winning and losing nothing, a 51.7% chance of losing. This bet is quite a balanced way to get a higher stake then the regular 10k but the house has a 1.7% edge
