Firstly happy Christmas to everyone! I hope everyone has been enjoying themselves.

I have a issue, one which a fair amount of torn players probably have felt the same with a player called Collete [Collete's Profile | Torn]

This player didn't like the fact I was giving out free items today to all Torn citizens, I expected nothing or wanted nothing in return. Urging all not to upvote for karma or send gifts back. A one way charitable event I'd host.

Collete seeing my postings on Torn about the free item giveaway decided to take it upon himself on Christmas to harass me and my spouses accounts, slamming bounties/stink-bombing us, along with stalking abroad to hospitalise my spouse and myself when I went to revive.

I had no idea who this player was before today.

In the last few months I ran into trouble which I corrected and made right with an effected player, Collete who had no connections to that is now using that resolved issue to disguise these attacks and harassment over the fact he didn't like my charitable act on Christmas.

Collete is known on Torn to be a bully, and a degenerate one at that, His aggressive forum posts on others speak on why he has a terrible reputation with over 850+ known and listed enemies. A quick name search in forums shows all.

In the end, I think he deserves to be called out on this, despite the repercussions I'm receiving. It was Christmas, I was doing something kind, only to be met with a Grinch/bully. Surprise surprise, it's torn what should I expect.

I knew that Torn can be often difficult with it's player base but given the situation I don't think I deserve this but I'll leave this one up to you.

Throughout this thread you'll find his 'friends' backing him up, being trolls, despite him clearly being in the wrong. One day Torn's community will get lucky, a chat ban/forum ban is the dream of many for him/her.

You're wrong, on the giveaway thread I listed your stinkbombs, your bounties where to high in quantity to list in the giveaway thread.

You didn't speak to me directly about posting on global about the charitable giveaway, you went on a warpath on Christmas.

I have no history of scamming anyone, the player who was effected in a previous issue was paid. The issue was resolved, and the forum/thread is transparent with the player saying there is no issue. Extorters and trolls made the situation worse and span it into something it wasn't.

You had a problem with me doing a nice and selfless thing for the community. It seems from your forum posts you have a grievance with targeting other players, enough to build up 850+ enemies.

Scalpers have ruined this hobby, it should be an easy hobby to get into only getting serious when your after older vintage top grade cards.

Anything new should have a decent price range associated to it not inflated price points made up by adults stock buying to flip.

Depending on your local game store they might hold events, normally speaking it will work the same. Pay a fee to play competevily, gain a pack for competing and depending on placement in the comp you'll gain promo's or packs.

Starting low with a budget is always a good idea, I wouldn't rush into Pokémon without the experience to know what your buying.

Limiting yourself is a great idea with budgets, once you get more familiar with the TCG and sets then I'd personally start upping the amounts on what you can spend or stay stable on what you are currently investing into it. Needless to say all poke is good poke, and you enjoy what you enjoy it doesn't always have to be the rare or expensive cards, it's a hobby in which you value in what you like.

Very much so, signatures on cards is more of a niche market however if they are signed by the cards art illustrator they can be worth an extreme amount.

Voice actor cards go for a nice amount, enough for me to keep buying to store away.

A story I have heard from many collectors over the years about the longevity of their childhood cards. Makes me weep as an adult facing the same situation.

Awesome to hear your sharing this with the son, I also do this with my dad who introduced me to all things poke (Even stealing my colorless Gameboy to play the original red on release) He's been playing/collecting for 30yrs straight, that man isn't quitting anytime yet but has also invested partially in One Piece.

Some great cards in this new set and I'm glad you pulled the chase among others, keep up the good RNG.

Didn't go for Sam's club but it's something I'll be looking into!

Nice cards, personally id keep them in top loaders, binders are good but curvature happens over a period of time.

Go to pricecharting .com they are a known price evaluator for cards, it shows what's recently being bought. There's good graphs on price dips and spikes.

Base set 2 zard is nice, seems you have a range from earlier sets, Jungle, Gym Heroes, I like Expedition cards.

Opened up 6 packs of new set today, and pulled nothing :(

Wow, this thread is really starting to pop off given the new set, glad to see some amazing shares.

Since its gaining more traction, throughout the day as promised when i first created this thread I'll be posting some more cards of mine, a show and tell so to speak.
