What strikes me as really gross is that they were provided with evidence that proves the allegation that was made to be 100% false. Fedding them anyways when they proved that what they were accused of didn't happen is unfair at best and grossly incompetant at worst.
Also, the contradictions in the staff response concern me. If they say their proof ISN'T in-game behavior, they have evidence that out of game behavior shows Pev and Moe are telling the truth, and they're basing it on the feeding, then what the actual hell IS the evidence? Because they're saying it's NOT for in-game behavior and then pointing the finger at an actual in-game action as the reason.
