So I'm brand new to this game. I've been doing the beginner missions and experimenting with the different areas on the sidebar. I've failed a few times and gotten arrested, and each time I've been immediately busted or bailed from jail. Like within a milliseconds.
Not that I'm complaining, but just now this happened and the "rules" was flashing red, and it brought me right to the "Scripting Abuse" item. Am I at risk of getting banned? I just assumed that high level people were farming some sort of rep by busting newbies out of jail, but I don't wan't to get my new account banned right away.
(Also, am I jumping the gun trying to shoplift at level 3? I'm going in with full stats and repeatedly getting smacked down.)
This really only happens with leveling targets for obvious reasons, but I'll often start a fight, be almost finished, and someone will join the fight and get the credit for defeating the target.
Do we both get the same experience towards our level, half? Do I get none?
Ah thank you for your help guys. And for the jail busts lol. I was more worried that I'd be wrongly pinged for a rule breaking script but apparently this is within normal parameters.
I've been doing a lot of searching for cash and selling copied media, just figured I could advance at this point but I can grind. I guess my gym stats don't affect crime at all. I'll spend more time with the wiki.

Ah thank you. No I don't have any extensions for scripts or for Torn, I just a few basic chrome/app integrations. I did click to agree to the rules, maybe the timing was just a coincidence.
