Recently The Satanic Temple (TST) has filed a lawsuit against the state of Iowa on the grounds of religious discrimination alongside past transgressions, notably an incident in 2023 that saw a man fly to the state capital to destroy a display setup by TST that stood alongside other religious/seasonal displays, where Iowa officials condemned not the destruction of the display, but the regional TST members that exercised their right to place it there. Since then TST has been denied the right to setup in the Capitol since then.
"For three years, Iowa has made its State Capitol available for religious holiday events while denying members of The Satanic Temple Iowa the same access. Today, TST and TST Iowa’s Minister Mortimer Adramelech have asked a federal court to intervene ----
The lawsuit was filed by the ACLU of Iowa, with Hasso & Wilson Law Firm and Kezhaya Law PLC serving as co-counsel."

To give some background on TST, its a non theistic religious group who don't actually worship satan, and are distinct from the Church Of Satan.
They believe in 7 core tenets that strive for bodily autonomy, the pursuit of justice, empathy, and the dedication to belief in scientific fact without distortion of it for personal gain to name a few.
The imagery used is meant to be a contrasting reflection of Christianity and the bad actors that lie within, where many don the facade of holiness to conceal the evil that lies underneath, TST is the opposite.
Of course thats not to say bad actors couldn't work their way in, but thats the general idea.
They also have several active advocacy groups that support reproductive rights, mental health patient rights, children's rights, a sobriety support group, etc.
The lawsuit is linked directly on TSTs site, its also up on ACLUIowa which is also linked there.
If anyone who's better versed in this area of law would like to give their thoughts on wheater the suit holds any water or if there's potential ways it could weaseled out of and thrown out, the input would be appreciated as I think this will be a landmark in the amendment right to freedom of religion, even though its mostly protected already, its the ability to practice and demonstrate it alongside other major religions when the major ones already are allowed to do so that im curious to see the outcome of.
You heard right, im taking bottlecaps as payment, why? I want to fill a pool with them and dive into it like scrooge mcduck.
I'm even willing to put up my metal detector for 10 000 BCs, As stupid as it sounds to use the caps to find caps, the return is a ok, Trust. But for now all you need is 50 caps and ill help with whatever purpose me losing has to you, from merits to just wanting to get those caps building in your inventory out!
Overwatchs main competitor is paladins, its like what you'd get if you took 2016 Blizzard and made all the employees rush out a cash grab event and gave it flesh.
The game is one of those games with dev teams that probably smoke pot in their offices before getting to work, any idea that sounds funny enough to them they'll probably add, a really shittily draw version of a character as a spray? Done, how about a VA storming away from the mic saying they don't get paid enough to say this shit, but the laid back dev team only part of it.
The game itself is interesting, you've got your characters and a deck you make for them that do things like decrease cool down, give you a larger health pool, or even gain your ult faster. Alongside that theres perks to get in match like more damage to deployables or faster reload speed.
But the main selling point for me is the decks you build for your characters, My personal favorite build converts Pip, someone who should be in the backline healing to flanking and harassing the enemy team. Although this does carry the risk that your team will think your actually gonna heal them and not pick another to fill in for you.
Here's a little tidbit of lore that specifically affected me, There was a bug with Pip that would allow your lifesteal to not be affected by diminishing returns so you could have like a 90% lifesteal which paired with the damage your doing, which is around 890 per shot with the right stuff equipped and you didn't even have to try surviving with how much you'd be getting.
There is another piece of lore but its more like a conspiracy theory I made because my favorite characters keep getting indirectly nerfed, basically the dev team noticed their least played characters were Furries so they commissioned a bunch of porn of them in the hopes it would increase their pickrate, it did but they decided they didn't want furry porn addicts making up so much as a fraction of the player base so they started the shadow cleansing of the art and made plans to make the future gamescspe least favorable to the charecters they commissioned art of, but thats a whole nother can of worms.
Was clearing the attic since I'm almost done moving and came across these 30-06 rounds that I can't figure out what variant they are, looks like both fmj and hp but I'm not too versed in firearms to know for sure, hopefully some enthusiast can make a positive id on these.
Yknow what I'm changing the subject, How the hell do i convert a a photo taken on mobile to a url?
Quick little idea I had after a certain failure at the beach where some guy asks you if your looking for a date. I was hoping maybe I could accept his offer, take him to a room, then drug him and take his money. The potential rewards could be greater than what you'd find on the beach but so are the risks, such as "you wake up in a bathtub full of ice, he mustve noticed you and swapped the drinks! -100 health -1 kidney"
Maybe in order to unlock additional options like this you need a certain intelligence stat or maybe even an education course, as limited as that might be.
I just think it'd be cool to have additional options on certain fails that could result in a big win or a critical fail.
Also my faction being cult/satanic themed is pure coincidence, I initially joined it when it was cat themed and had a cute animated banner alongside it, me joining TST came after the theme got changed, just felt the need to point that out.

When I reached out to Wayward Squid that was the issue they trouble shooted with me. They told me to post here if it persists, and it did until awhile ago. We ran through reinstalling and checking app settings to see if there was anything clearing cookies, it could have just been weird software with that phone but it could also be something else.
After switching back to my old phone after my newer one got damaged and now it stopped requiring me to receive an email each and every time I opened the game.
I held off on posting about the issue after asking staff for help and now I found out why it was happening, it wasn't too bad once I learned TPDA can bypass it *sometimes* but not all the time, it also started happening when I started using the pda for scripts as well come to remember so it could also be linked to it. Both phones are androids btw
Seeing that no one attended Hawkings experiment, possibly given the fact of what we know now, I'm recreating it in the form of races, only revealing the password here each time the race is called off.
The first attempt was held on vector, no one showed up, the password was SUCCHIMEAL
I will post updates here each time after the events are over, the idea is if I do these consistently, at some point there's a possibility some fellow racer will happen to have access to the technology at some point in their life, and all they have to do is record the passwords and come back to around this time.
Multiple races should give them plenty of opportunities to join in case some unexpected happenings occur resulting in one being missed.
I got no schedule for when there taking place from here on out, but that shouldn't matter since it'll probably be every other day or so, maybe probably.
Just for posterity sake the start of this experiment begun on Feb10 2026
So uh, theres no good way to put this but the company is currently fairly unregulated in who gets hired, im talking stats still in the hundreds and from what I can see this company hasn't had any other form of advertising outside the advertising budget so I figured I'd advertise it and give it a few days before I decide to look for another so ill at least have tried contributing something to the company.
The director has a little bit of director education and is presumably still working on it, I say presumably because I haven't heard a peep out of him, the company chat, or the company forum, so if your a (mostly) lurking introvert like me you won't have to worry about being the one guy who very rarely chats.
The upgrades, while I cant view them, there is a staff room thats nearly maxed (9/10)
The income is negotiable although I'm fairly certain that's not the primary reason you'd be joining a music store anyway.
I just believe the next crime will involve creating explosives/drugs and will take any and all items that can be so much as loosely related to creating them, the list is just what I think is likely, with some vague interpretation.
I understand the volatility of the prices and how quickly the amount being payed can shoot up but thats just how crypto currency works, BottCoin is crypto and can be manipulated as such, how effective and how much it is, is entirely dependent on the consumers,
Currently the price per cap is around 4100 so now you'd be paying more for losses by selecting me, or you could watch the price, do your own math, wait for it to become a bargain again when it falls, but who's gonna do that, the people want their losses now and the market isn't allowing for it, but for those who do, they know how much they could save.
Currently 100 bottlecaps is roughly a bit over 230k, meaning for the time being my prices are lower than average, you may know me as the guy who said BottCoin is the self proclaimed currency of the future, and I stand by that.
The value of BottCoin has been slow, but steady, and I believe nows the time to stock up. So I'm open all the time to sell losses for bottlecaps, or if you want to call them Bottcoins with me, you can.
Hell ill even trade for BottCoin, but thats not what this thread is about, this thread is about letting you, the consumer know my prices are competitive, but only as long as the market for BottCoin will allow, so cashing in now to save around 15k or more, which is 150k if you purchase 10 losses, and if you felt so inclined to make it, cheaper, then go right on ahead, this is an opportunity I guarantee you won't find anyone else offering.
The Outlast Trials is a game taking inspiration from Project MKultra, taking place during the Cold War, your involuntarily recruited by Murkoff, the company running the facility where the trials take place.
Before each trial your able to do things like arm wrestle other players or play chess against them, as well as customize your character and their room if you'd like.
As your boarding the Tram to get to a trial your locked into a chair so Dr Eastermen can spout what is effectively nonsense that is usually related to either the justice system, religion, or children, all connected by themes of obedience and punishment. As his shtick is done the room is flooded with gas that induces psychosis and sees hallucinations that allude to what is upcoming in the trial, and before your released your given an antidote to the effects of the gas.
In each trial your given a series, or a single task to fulfill before you're able to exit. You'll encounter one of two main antagonists, Gooseberry, or Coyle both whose lore is fairly interesting so you can check them out for yourself. There's really not much of a difference in what there capable of doing to you but Coyle appears in trials themed around the justice system and Gooseberry in trials themed around religion and children. These aren't the only enemies, or 'ex-pops' as their called in game, The aforementioned gas is inflicted by one of three things, gas traps in doorways/containers, gas mines laying throughout the trial, and a guy that occasionally spawns from doors that sound an alarm before he walks out. He doesn't damage you in any way, just wants to share some gas by spraying it directly into your face.
If he sprays you it instantly depletes your sanity and The Skinnerman appears until you find an antidote or outlast him. He's based off an in game psychiatrist named Dr Skinner although its unknown what the connection between the two could be.
Being an Outlast game it two main features are: dark ass areas, and lots of gore. The first one is acomadatted for by night vision goggles that have been drilled into you skull and is the main tool at your disposal and what is there for reasource management, as you'll have to recharge it from batteries taken from door traps, off dead Reagents (what you are) or found in toolboxes, but can be found laying just about anywhere.
As for the gore this games gore is pretty toned down compared to the first and second outlast game, with most mutilations happening to corpses, unless your the one doing the mutilation, in which there very much alive and are part of the trial, so you have to do it to proceed,
Senseless gore and violence aren't everyone's thing but I feel it serves just a tiny bit more than shock value in this game, as its based off project MKultra it essentially takes the worst aspects of that and combines it with the brutality of Unit 737, to create a mind control program where all morals and ethics are twice as nonexistent to demonstrate that if the government is willing to perform atrocities like the ones mentioned, then imagine how much more might be hidden away to prevent international investigation due to how inhumane people can be to eachother. The first game showed how poorly mental patients were treated then as well which isn't really something this game touches on too much.
I'm kinda tired from playing it and seeing what the final trial is like so what I'm saying might not be exactly how I want to present it but I like this game mainly because I'm a sucker for horror games in general.
This is going over my personal favorite indie horror game of all time, kind of an appreciation post if you want to call it that, and I'm about to full blown wall of text so if you like reading then have fun.
In Monstrum you have to escape a ship while being pursued by one of three monsters,
The Brute is the poster boy of the game, he runs just slightly slower than the player and ignores doors while in chase so outrunning him is often better than finding a place to hide, unless you run into a dead end of course. His footsteps are LOUD and can often be confused for him being on the floor above you, and he's immune to the flare gun, but if you like earning achievements go ahead and shoot him with it.
The Hunter was the second monster added, and she's the ambush predator of the three, her skin is translucent and her frame is almost skeletal so she's able to hide in the darkness and wait for the player to come by. Her main method of finding you is waiting for you to make noise, after which shell pop out from a vent thats nearby and start chase. Her main method of traveling is also the vents, as if you go from one side of the ship to the other you'll hear her nearby in a matter of seconds. She's vulnerable to fire, needing to return to a vent after getting burned before being able to chase again. Lastly she can set up egg sacs that basically act like a spawnpoint that she can burst from if you get too close, some are active and some aren't you really can't tell so passing by them are gambles. Since it can traverse vents it can also traverse other parts of the ship others can't, like crawling up the side of the ship to take a shortcut if your doing something like interacting with the crane. Her footsteps are squishy and slappy but not as loud as the Brutes.
The last monster added is the Fiend, for lack of a better term, he's a paralysis demon, able to stun you if your in his line of sight too long. He floats around so he doesn't have footsteps and the only way to tell if he's near is if the lights start flickering, which includes your flashlight which is a necessity especially in low light areas like the cargo hold. You can also hear a buzzing noise when he's nearby but only within 15 ft or so and this can be heard on multiple floors, as for the lights they won't flicker unless he's on the same floor so running up staircases is pretty dangerous against him. And lastly he seems to be the smartest of the three, able to know when he's been tricked into a room.
Now the scape routes,
The liferaft is the easiest to do, since its first objective is always completed for some reason, it only needs duct tape, a pump, and a spool of chain for the crane. Its loud to move the crane and there's only a few ways off the deck with no way to stop the monster so this is the most dangerous escape.
The Helicopters items are somewhat difficult to find, you'll need boltcutters, two cans of fuel, and Helicopter keys, after getting all of them you'll have to let it refuel which is made easy by the two open steam valves you can utilize to keep the monster at bay, its the funnest route imo.
And lastly the sub, you'll need a sub battery, sub light, welding kit, and a fuse to power the console so you can start the launch sequence and once you do the three power locked doors will close and your locked in until you can escape, your given a cart to push in front of the doors (or vents if its a Hunter) to prevent them front getting in to kill you, this and the Helicopter both have a 'Stand your ground' section which i really like.
Those are just the basics, which to be fair this game doesn't have a lot of content, its almost a 10 yr old game that unfortunately got left to the wayside after its sequel went into development and flopped sometime after some time, but it still remains a game I heavily enjoy playing.
Yup, the VA storming away from the mic is bc he was saying "OwO whats thi-" so they know exactly who their catering to,. Speaking of buff or shirtless anthros, fortnite has had quite a few of those over the years, first it was Hybrid, who is unreasonably thicc for a Lizard. Then the really buff kitty, so they know what there doing.
Companies capitalizing on furries is honestly one of the smartest moves one can make, they can afford fursuits and commissions worth hundreds and thousands they can drop 10 dollars for a skin.
Unrelated but i brand accounts that shitpost like MSI (not the band) or the basement guy on the warthunder yt page, gotta be one of my favorite genders.
