I’ve been building this for a while, and I’m finally ready to share it.
direcTorn is my Torn recruiting and director tooling, and the first release is now live with two useful pieces:
The Discord bot It helps with employee searches.
Each search returns 100 fresh, unused profiles (*1) within your required work stats bracket, according to your filtering selection. You’re not wasting time browsing the torn advanced search hoping for a decent match. Every profile delivered had been active in the past day. And it’s free to try, since every account gets a free first search.
Poaching
While the bot does not prevent poaching, it does in fact limit it.
cooldown period : each delivered recruit is put on a 30 day cooldown during which that same profile will not be delivered to anyone using direcTorn. This to prevent hammering and contesting the same recruits over and over again - and to limit (but not eliminate) poaching potential
Recruiter Helper This pairs with the bot and makes the search results much easier to work with:
import the CSV export from the bot
review and sort candidates
keep already-opened profiles out of the way
export the shortlist when you’re done

load them into Recruiter Helper

Current price is set to 1 can of red cow per 100 crispy fresh results.

Implemented the /credits command >>
/credits show < Will show you your current credits for each active tool (I plan on adding more tools in the future)
/credits add < shows you how to add credits to your tab
/credits transfer < allows you to transfer (one or more of) your credits to another member

The /employeesearch now works on an exclude-by default basis. select which company types you want to include in your search before running it.

The bot now remembers who received which profiles (from every search going forward) were delivered to whom. Meaning you will never receive the same potential recruit twice, even after the 30 day cooldown period.

Ched, the reason this is called frequently is because many of us rely on that information for our main income source. Think any trader, flight club, set builder, ... How the F is this acceptable? This 'small' change kills an entire side of the torn economy.
