"Ah, have you heard about the Black Rider lately? No? Then allow me to enlighten you with today’s urban legend report."

"They say that late last night, around the quiet backstreets near Sunshine City, someone saw the Headless Rider. But this time, it wasn’t the usual. A group of high school delinquents thought it’d be fun to block her path with construction barricades. They set them up, laughed, and waited, thinking they’d capture a video to go viral – you know, for that fleeting validation people crave so desperately."

"When the jet-black motorcycle approached, they saw the rider slow down. One of them stepped forward, brandishing an iron pipe like some medieval knight about to slay a dragon. But do you know what she did?"

"She stopped, silent as always, then raised her hand in a simple gesture. The shadows around her seemed to bend, like the air was warping. The boy tried to swing the pipe, but before he knew it, he was lying on the ground, face-first, his body refusing to move as the shadows pinned him down like invisible chains."

"His friends ran. Of course they ran. Humans are excellent at fleeing when things turn against them – a basic survival instinct. The Rider just stood there, tilting her helmet down at the boy as if sighing in disappointment. Then she flicked her wrist, and the shadows released him. He scrambled away, crying, leaving behind only his shattered pride and that viral video they so desperately wanted. It was deleted later, of course, probably by someone who didn’t want the world to see what they aren’t meant to see."

"You see, that’s the beauty of urban legends. They keep people wondering what’s real and what isn’t. The Headless Rider, Celty Sturluson, is a living legend walking among us, but humans still treat her like a ghost story for entertainment. Perhaps if they truly understood what she is… they’d fear her with the reverence they give to gods. Or demons."

"But… I do adore humans precisely because they’re so foolishly unaware. Don’t you agree?"
