I'm reaching out during a difficult time for my family. My mom and dad, both 64 years old, have been battling cancer, and we are now facing overwhelming medical and financial hardships.
Four years ago, my mom was diagnosed with lung cancer. After a long and challenging treatment process, she is still in recovery, but she continues to struggle with her health. Her medical bills alone have amounted to over $200,000, which has placed a huge burden on our family.
Now, my father is fighting bladder cancer. He recently finished his chemotherapy treatments and is scheduled to have his bladder removed on the 22nd of this month. He’s been so strong through this fight, but it’s going to be a long recovery. He will be unable to work for at least 60 days while he recovers from the surgery, and the financial strain is already taking its toll.
I currently live with my parents along with two of my children, and I’m doing everything I can to care for them. I’m struggling to find a job that allows me to stay home and provide the support they need while also helping us stay afloat financially. On top of the stress of caring for my family, I also lost my job recently. We haven’t even received the full medical bills from my dad’s treatments yet, and I’m worried about how we will manage.
Any donation, no matter how small, would make a world of difference for us during this difficult time. If you are unable to contribute, sharing this with others would be incredibly helpful and appreciated.
From the bottom of my heart, thank you for your support. My family and I are so grateful for your generosity and kindness.
