Elimination was a blast and I want to thank everyone who put in the hours, whether it was attacks, coordination, leadership or organization. This was my first time participating in Elimination, and I wasn't sure what to expect going into the competition. My day-to-day IRL doesn't lend itself to continuous activity. For the last year I've been lucky enough to be in a great faction that doesn't war weekly, which has helped me make the most of Torn despite my playstyle of limited activity. Attacks and wars are fun, and I experienced that during this competition. My contribution to the team effort was limited, so what a blessing it was to be on the winning team. All of the credit for this victory goes to leadership and our hitters.
To be totally honest, I wasn't active in the team chat or the Discord. When I got messages from leadership, I spent my E following orders to the best of my ability, staying out of the country when I didn't have E. I have no idea what went on behind the scenes; the diplomacy, negotiations, back-stabs, etc. Perhaps there was a lot of luck in the way the so-called cards were dealt. What I do know is that coming from someone who doesn't war often or play with hyper-efficiency in mind, I had so much fun watching the scoreboard over the last week.
This Elimination goes down as my favorite Torn memory so far. It was an honor to participate in the hive. Murder Hornets forever. For the HUVE.
