The Hesychasts, a fledgling community, holds aloft the banner of the Eastern Orthodox and Byzantine Catholic faith. Our foundation is rooted in defense, fraternity, and the unwavering commitment to righteous living. Though young and still finding our footing, we harbor an immense potential for growth and accomplishment.

+**Spiritual Warfare:** +

In the language of spiritual warfare, we declare our intention to resist the temptations of the digital wilderness, standing as warriors against the forces of darkness that assail our virtuous brethren. Our struggle is a battle for the soul, a relentless pursuit of spiritual excellence.

+**Our Divine Arsenal:** +

- **Bands of Brothers and Sisters:** The Hesychasts is where your faith finds companions who share your devotion and your thirst for purpose.
- **Moral Fortitude:** In this relentless struggle, we stand resolute in the face of temptation, wielding the sword of righteousness.
- **Entrepreneurial Prowess:** Our enterprising spirit thrives amidst the tumultuous sea of challenges, conquering adversities.
- **Inward Ascension:** With the teachings of the Desert Fathers as our guide, we embark on a spiritual journey of contemplation, embracing the stoic asceticism that prepares us for the ultimate battle.

1) Everything in the world was created so man can attain salvation, God became man so man can become god. One must be able to know what is a mean to an end and what is a vice or addiction that destroys you and others and to which point. A drug can be as bad as food in excess or sugar. It is about the same. Remember, what differentiates a medicine from a poison is the dose. And there are doses of everything for each and every person.

2) Prayer and fasting.
