I am writing this tutorial or guide as a way of helping new players to start making decent money on Torn from the get go.
NOTE: I recently did something that is not very nice. I copied and pasted a post from Tornacious into the forum, and I apologize to Tornacious about that. I am not going try and justify it because it was just pure lazy and sleazy from me.
Moving on...
I get it, you came to Torn, lived in a shack and got a measly job at a Torn grocery store or army, you make a few hundred bucks every day and you also get a few job and working points. That's all good and well until you realize that there's more to Torn than just being a grocer- no offence.
In this guide, I am am going to show you- a new player, how you can make atleast $5M a day, you can earn more if you're an active player, and some of the methods listed here are also suitable for older and seasoned players.
Now, if you're past the "newbie" stage, that's somewhere from Level 10 or 11 and above, then you may skip this guide because you probably will have heard about these methods, so it'll be nothing new to you. If you're a new player, level 1-10, then this guide will help you start to make some decent amount of cash.
I am not recommending something that I haven't done before, I've been through the newbie stage and I'm probably still one lol, but I'm making waaay more than $5M a day and I still do some of the methods I will be sharing with y'all today.
Okay, enough blabbering, and let's get on with it.
METHOD 1: Selling lollipops/beers
This is probably THE EASIEST thing a newbie player can do make cash. You simply go to the Sally's sweet shop or Bits n Bits, buy 100 lollipops or beers, and then either sell them to a trader or sell them on the item market for a profit.
The reason why this is great is because lollipops and beers sell fro a huge markup and they give you a taste of earning real money. It's not as much as you'll earn doing the other methods I'll recommend but it sure will make you more than your salary working at a Torn business.
METHOD 2: Get hired at player company
Working at a Torn job is okay, especially when you're new and don't have enough working stats. Working at a player owned company though will enable you to earn waaaaay more money than you earn at a Torn shop.
You'll find player owned company listings on the Torn newspaper, under the job listing sections. There, then you'll find different types of companies that you can apply to, according to your liking.
Some player owned companies though require you to have high working stats, those companies are usually high star companies. If you're a new player, you're better trying for 4 star companies and lower. Those companies usually accept new players with low working stats.
Working in a player owned company get you about $10k-$100k a day salary, which is a HUUUUGE upgrade compared to what you earned at a Torn shop.
My very first job in a player owned company was in a grocery store... ironic, and even now, I'm still hired at a grocery store but with higher stars.
METHOD 3: TRADE CHAT ADVERTISING
Now we're really getting to big money methods. Trade advertising. I'm sure you've gone into the trade chat, which is the chat with two arrows next to the newbie chat, and have seen all these weird postings about "RW WEAPONS" and "BAZAARS" and whatever, well, worry not, those aren't meant for you as a new player, but you can also do that. Posting those weird things on the trade chat for money.
You can to trade chat advertising in two different ways.
One: you can be a self employeed trade chat adverriser, you post on the trade chat that you are an advertiser and can do trade chat ads for a fixed fee. Doing this by yourself can be very lucrative because you can charge anywhere from $1.5m to $3m per hour, because anywhere above $3m is somewhat greedy and is not good for economy. I don't know.
Or Two: You can join an advertising agency. Go to trade chat, post that you are looking for an ad agency to join so you can start posting ads. Someone may contact you regarfing that and how you can join their agency. It's all veey simple, I promise. Going this route, you'll need to have a Discord, because many agencies use Discord to post contracts.
Joining an agency is great because you can never run out of contracts, so you'll almost always have a contract waiting for you to claim. Agencies pay their workers $1.5m an hour, atleast that's the agency I'm in.
I have to warn you though, doing trade chat ads is very tiring and you have to concentrate because you can be required to post atleast 40 times an hour on the trade chat, since you can only post one ad every 60 seconds. It's good money if you do more hours, ut it's not suitable for everyone, especially people who can't concentrate for long periods or are too busy in real life.
METHOD 4: SELLING LOSSES
This is the 4th and final method that can help you make $5m+ a day. This is probably the easiest methods to do that pay some decent money. It literally take 5-10 minutes, and boom, you can have more than $1.4m on hand.
Doing this method alone can make you $5m a day easily. You don't have to do any of the other methods if you don't want to, really. Any newbie that is not selling losses as their main source of income, and still makes $5m a day, please feel free to comment below and tell us how you do it, because even still, it's my main source of income. It's what pays the bills for me.
You can also do this via one of two methods.
One: Like trade chat advertising, you can also post on the trade chat that you're selling losses. An interested player will send you a message with how much they can pay you per hit. Then, after you've sorted that out, you can start "slutting". Weird name for such a beautiful activity. Anyway, you can charge up to $450k per loss... but, $300k-$350k is really the sweet spot.
Be careful of "buy muggers". Those are people who mug you after they bought something from you. Those muggers can mug you after paying you so they get something sort of like a "discount".
Or Two: You can also join an agency for that. I am also a member of a loss selling agency called NEBULA, they're somewhat famous now. They are the best, and they do pay... maybe not instantly, but they eventually do.

After signing up, please go to their 'referral records' section, and say that your were referred by DeMthuda (me). My name should auto-fill as you type DeMthuda. That would me a lot to me because there is a referral program for their members to earn more money.
With your 100 energy, you can do a max of 4 losses. If you take a Xanax, you can do an additional 10. 14 losses × $350k... you can do the math, but it's a profit when you factor out the Xanax and 14 first aid kit expenses.
Payments are randomized to avoid being mugged and they are processed when the admins responsible have the time to do so because they, too, are humans and have real life jobs and families.
Well, there you have it. These steps I've mentioned will sure help you a lot in making money as a newbie, especially during your early days in the game. It will get better, you will earn more money, and you will buy or rent that Private Island, so you can earn even more money.

If you can do all those methods altogether, and yes it is very much possible because I am currently doing it, you can earn waaay more than the $5M that this post is speculating. Ofcourse, I am a very active player and so it is possible for me.
If you can't afford to spend too much time on Torn, then you can set your timer for when your Xanax cooldowns run out, so you can take another Xanax and sell losses again or gym.
