I've been meaning to get into FF for a while, and I've been playing some 14 with a friend, but that doesn't really count as a FF game, right? What's a good place for a newcomer to start?

But, more seriously, there's no "right" way to do comedy. It isn't something you can write a guide for, you have to kinda feel it out for yourself, find what style works for you (observational, absurdist, dry, gallows, etc.) The same style could be drastically different on some people, and have extremely different effects on different groups. It is way too complex and multifaceted for a torn discussion forum.

They're called "RWs" or Ranked Weapons. Asides from some rare outliers, they're obtained from different caches, which are awarded to a faction after a Ranked War. Typically, they're sold by the leaders in order to pay out any war hits. The outliers are extremely rare drops from NPCs, such as the poison umbrella or bread knife. For most people, the only way you'll get a RW is buying it. Seems like you got a pretty solid one!

I'm currently posting this with TornTools enabled.

I was able to attack and hospitalize a "greenleaf" who was only 10 days old. I activated the attack screen from the newspaper bounty section, clicking the hyperlinked "claim" button. I do not believe any other scripts I have installed could have impacted this.
