I've been seeing all these awesome artwork and animations that everyone has been making and the Torn City contests. I'm coming in completely a noob and not really artistic. Can anyone help me with what programs I can use to make the art/animations with? Also is there groups that I can get involved in that might be able to show me ?

Early Life:
Born in Syracuse NY South end. Was a promising Baseball player but was unable to get scholarships due to poor grades. Moms was always struggling to make ends meet this had me dying inside.
I had to do something. My Pops wasn't around the only time I would see him was when we took the drive to Ossining, New York ,Sing Sing Correctional Facility.
I've only ever seen him in that Prison jumpsuit for as long as I can remember. The only bonds we had was making spreads.. The only time I ever seen him look at me with pride was when he heard I was flipin keys.
The streets showed me love:
At 15 I sold my first bag of dope. I was hanging out with killers and cut-throats. Fast forward years later I was getting the whole tri-State high. Burning blocks
Now at 20years old. Paper bags filled with hundreds of thousands of dollars. You couldn't name a car that I didn't have. I was giving away blocks
thought I had my city on lockdown Untill....
Parked outside at The Alpine Adult Lounge on Butternut Street a passenger of a near by car threatened me "To give up" my 2021 lambo
I resisted and was shot but was able to drive off. I was hurt bad! Driving down one way streets flashing my lights trying to get someone's
attention thinking to myself ( Ima Bleed out.) pulled over a female approached me as I was passing out, She drove me to Upstate University Hospital.
There S.P.D questioned me saying they found a cell phone at the scene. They tried to trace the phone but luck. I told them I didn't know who shot me!
(I did see the gunman throw up a rival gang sign right before I was shot but I didn't tell Po-Po that.)
Out the hospital:
My boy in from Belize told me about Torn City and said I should lay low...Yeah right! I've been here 2 weeks and these blocks are hotter than July and its the end of September.
I'm learning real fast its who you know around here. I'm on the block everyday working hard. I keep my hat low.
