I've NEVER posted a thread before, let alone spoke in public or in front of a crowd, etc...that's not really my forte. In fact, the light bulb for this went off a couple months ago & it took me this long to put it to fruition.
AnyHoo, I just wanted to talk about how important ur faction is on here. When u first get into this game there's a LOT to learn, to keep up with, to figure out...and then, when u start developing a strategy or ur own method to the madness, well that's when u start getting faction recruiters all up in ya inbox. I haven't found the forum where they tell ya to beware of factions who just want to raise their numbers for war. These cases are seldom beneficial due to the fact that u really haven't figured out the whole "warring" thing yet, so a lot of times after the war if u haven't preformed well, u get the axe and return to ths wandering life of an exile. I was starting to kinda get jaded towards factions after having 3(!) experiences like this and started to shy away from the idea, when.....
....I somehow won the faction lottery. [insert shoutout to MY faction] I got a recruitment from KindaEpicMoah to join BloodBath&Beyond and my game hasn't been the same since. It's true, in the beginning, I was just an added soldier for the upcoming war BUT afterwards I wasn't abandoned once again in the wilderness, I was given the opportunity to prove myself & grow into the position I had been tentatively appointed. (And i know I have a ways to go, BUT I am earnestly working on being a better player and TEAM member everyday.) I was putting a lot of effort into being more active when BloodBath&Beyond came into my life and made that task effortless!
Now, it IS true that however much time/work u put into ur faction is what ur gonna back...u only get back whatcha put in, as with most things in life. There are different levels of participation and activity requirements with each faction so it might be beneficial to "compare shop" before making ur decision. I had pretty much started to shy away from the "faction" idea when I was recruited & allowed to join BB&B. Everyone has been SUPER helpful when help was needed without being pushy or intolerant.
I appreciate everybody's patience & guidance. This faction is a LOT of work for a noob but DEFINITELY worth it. I find that I pimp-walk through the hood streets with my head a little higher & my snapback a little lower since becoming a member. Well, MEMBER is a tiny exaggeration. At this point, it's still an aspiration. Now, who to talk to about THAT...hmmmm? ?

I'm not gonna lie, I was "upsetti spaghetti" initially, but I have since came to the realization that we all have different strengths & weaknesses and public speaking/creative writing maaaaay not be mine...with that, I'll respectfully bow my head, apologize to my fellow gamemates & fade into the backgroud.
The thing I regret the most is that what I posted will become some people's first impression of me. I kinda wanted to put this incident in the rear view mirror, NOT be known or remembered by it.
Oh, well...u live & learn. I do apologize to u, also...there is no excuse for rude behavior in a man (or woman) & u can't fault somebody for just speaking the truth. Obviously, my skin isn't as thick as I thought it was...lol.

Sarcasm & dry wit are huge turn ons for me. Needless to say, they are concepts of which I am very familiar. With that being said, if my reaction of the general 'reaction' to my endless barrage of unparagraphed words seems a modicum extreme, I can only explain it by comparing it to stagefright. The effort it took for me to post that is akin to something like a person with severe social anxiety & stagefright would go through if they had to speak in front of a large crowd.
Maybe my 'unstylized' writing style leaves something to be desired but yall BustaS can't touch me on vocabulary/spelling! ?? Tell the truth. Is that why yall really mad...cuz I used a bunch of big words? (HaHa, CALM DOWN I was just kidding & meant that in a most UNOFFENSIVE manner...)
And has anybody else realized that all the bitching is about reading material that is totally OPTIONAL (NON-MANDATORY)? Meaning, read it if ya feel like- don't, if ya don't. But DON'T read it & then bitch about how TERRIBLE of an experience it was to have done so...next time, if somthings too taxing to read, u ARE at liberty to discontinue reading without fear of retribution or consequences.
