I read a post earlier with somebody saying they were looking for a friend's in torn. They advised that they had been in the game for years but I hadn't made any solid friend groups or friends for that matter. That led to the question that started burning in my brain, do you think you can actually make real friends in Torn? I was just wondering and curious. I don't have enough information to formulate my own opinion that's why I'm asking. I've come across a lot of different characters. I've watched people flame me and others in the forms and comments. I watch people be nasty to each other more than anything on here so I might be a little biased, that's why I'm asking. Easily starts with; somebody leads with a joke, and then the game begins. Again, that has been my limited experience. But in the same breath, I have met a lot of beautiful, cool, down the Earth people (especially when I was DJing for torn FM) that I chat with daily sometimes. How about you guys anybody care to share?

Look, we need to have a real talk about what's going on with this faction update. I’m not just on here bitching or complaining to complain, but small factions are getting done dirty right now, and I know for a fact I’m not the only one dealing with it.

Before all this, win, lose, or draw, I was good. Win some, lose some, break even that’s just the game, and I loved every minute of warring in Torn. But this new update, mixed with this trash self-hospitalization crappy people are running, has sucked all the fun right out of it. I message one of the people and they responded with AI  prompts... For a sec, I thought their leader was AI. It was just the strangest thing and again it's sucking the fun out of it. 

From my point of view, here’s the real problem: the matchmaking is only looking at raw headcount instead of actual battle stats. If my faction has 25 people, we might have literally one heavy hitter while everyone else is mid or lower tier. But we’re getting thrown into wars against 25-man factions stacked with 24 absolute monsters and one throwaway newbie. Then, to make it even worse, these same overpowered teams are running straight to the hospital, putting bounties on their own heads mid-war just to deny hits on purpose.

So what happens? We’re completely locked out. We can't land a hit, we can't win a war, and we sure as hell can't build up enough respect to upgrade perks or grow.

I’ve been around the block with factions of all sizes. I was in the trenches with a small faction from day one and watched it organically build itself up into one of the biggest names in Torn right now. Under this current setup, that kind of organic grind is dead in the water. A new or growing faction doesn't even stand a chance.

Losing is fine you know....I’ve taken plenty of L's when the fight was fair. But getting set up for an automatic slaughter against impossible stats while people cheese the hosp system isn't competitive, it’s just broken. Something’s gotta give with this matchmaking formula, and I just want to see some real answers and solutions to bring the actual competition back.

But stupid is subjective. I've been in global chat as a noob and didn't know anything and somebody just started doing weird s***. I've gone places and told them I was a girl and do started acting weird. Again this is based on your experience and I'm only relaying based on my experience. Maybe you've had a lot of nice encounters with people, for me it's 50/50 just like in life.

And by the way I wrote I pretty much everything, and then I put it in to Chachi EBT to correct the grammatical and spelling errors FYI so those are my words I just wanted you to be able to search it and get the AI prompt as I've gotten multiple times when talking to various leaders

First guys I did the AI prop on purpose. Just to show you what exactly is happening when I talk to people. I'm getting these f****** prpts.. I hope somebody would notice so you can see how f****** ridiculous it is. Secondly of course I'm f****** flying why wouldn't I fly. I'm kind of in the same boat. In fact I came on here to find out why I can find my API so I could reinstall FF scouter version 2 because it hasn't worked on my torn PDA and over a year. However, I didn't see it and was a little puzzled while it had disappeared. I'm a beginner to coding so I thought I would just give it a shot and read through everything however this was a pivotal mistake. I have so many questions and haven't answered one single thing. First, can somebody let me know exactly what direction I should be going into figure out this issue with FF scouter. I asked a couple of months ago and nobody helped. Also can somebody give me an update on what happened to the API and how are we supposed to get them now. Also, because of my flat out ignorance in the subject matter I would love somebody to point me into the direction for me to actually start learning the language. I feel like I'm at a huge disadvantage and would honestly have been super procrastinating about learning coding. I think this would be great position to be in and everybody on here is always helpful. So please if you wouldn't mind helping me out that would be amazing with all the questions. Hopefully I can start studying right away and actually learn something and maybe even build something especially after I figure out where the frack my API has gone. Thanks

So quick question, My torn PDa says I have The latest updated version. But it's still not working. so , does that mean I have to go through all the steps of removing a completely and then adding it back?
