I’m just biding my time until all scripts are banned. I haven’t grown attached to any of them. The ONLY scripts I support are the Easter ones because fuck finding those eggs honestly.
The only use case for the addiction mitigation is for when you’re working in a strict company that won’t allow your -% over a certain amount. It helps you only needing to rehab once a week if you take 3 Xanax a day. No matter how strict your company is. It also allows you to be more competitive in the company space because certain employers take your addiction mitigation into account.
As far as other things? Not worth it in the slightest. If you’re not in a competitive company or own your own company you’re wasting the merits. It’s arguable if you’d be wasting the merits regardless, but it’s been serving me well for the most part. They have calculators to see how often you’d need to rehab with the mitigation and without.
It’s an event that expects you to stay active to view the item restocks at all times… If you’re playing passively like I was you’re going to be at a location for hours due to missing the restocks. I didn’t like the event either, it led to me being mugged three different times because I was too busy to wait around for the restocks.
I actually managed to make less than what I’d normally make flying.
I mean, vico is more useful than 80% of the other drugs so I don’t see what the problem is. When are speed/shrooms getting the buff they deserve? Merits are the ONLY reason to take them. At least vico has a use case.
I don’t know how y'all managed it, but you guys have created an even more toxic work environment than irl companies. I’m 100% sure my boss would charge me to work for them if they thought they could get away with it.

Scripts are 100% cheating. There’s genuinely no way around it. The problem with it for me is I HAVE to use them to even be viable against other players that do. FFS is public enemy #1, but it’s standard for everyone to use at this point.
It’s predatory asf and it opens the doors for RMT more than not. Gambling is as rampant as drug use, if you cut their supply they’ll do whatever it takes to get another hit. Especially buying currency at a cheaper rate to keep going longer. They’re not here for the long haul, just the dopamine they’ll get from the whole process of it.
For how weak they are damage wise, I’d really love a solid 20% accuracy buff along with them being able to get XP and merit investments. With educations done and working in a furniture store, that would put them closer to a decent normal quality grey weapon.
Would also be great if they didn’t trigger parry, if they even do currently.

Some of the flavor text makes it make much more sense in most cases. Especially searching the junkyard and graveyard. Where I’m from only crackheads go to junkyards for copper to buy more drugs. Freedom land and all that.
The only real thing they need to change with it is the crimes 1.0 slop. It needs to be replaced with crimes 2.0 benefits. There’s no reason that the drivers license course has been totally useless since I’ve joined the game. Doesn’t take rocket science to change some minor stuff around like that. It’s not like they were groundbreaking features to begin with…
