Just wondering if there was just a general place to talk about philosophy. I was mostly thinking about Stoicism. Was wondering if people could just pop some links in and maybe start a general discussion. See what happens. I'm just here to observe and think. Probably be easier to keep civil compared to other things.

The thing about politics and and chess in general is seeing the big picture as well as being patient. I don't know if its today or tomorrow but hopefully people get tired of discussion and start taking action.

I honestly don't have a horse in this race besides being part Ashkenazi but at most I'm Agnostic and have never even practiced. Even then my moms not Jewish so technically I'm not even a real Jew. I have no ambitions of moving to Israel either. I don't follow news or politics either. Most of it doesn't even apply to the way I live my life besides oil and and maybe inflation as well as taxes. I'm more concerned with what I have and what i need to be too concerned with other peoples shit.

However, we cant just send the Israeli's back to Europe and stuff. So maybe we can work out something. I don't know what that would be. Ideally we just redraw the lines but better than last time and just hope for the best. However I'm no expert and have no idea how feasible that'd be.

As Americans though we got a lot of work to do at home. A lot of people feel that way. Not saying pulling out of world affairs but if someone wants to take up the responsibility of being the police of the "free world" i say go for it.

I'm an average American Citizen. We all know our country is corrupt. We know our world and especially the middle east is in the shitter right now. So why don't step up and do something about this? our governments has raised generations of followers and there is less competent leaders because of this. if we had clear and direct leadership in the oval office right now. As the "world's Police" we could go out and do something. We could easily end this in a couple days if every competent person in politics spoke up and grew a god damn spine. No reason to kill and torture innocent people on any side. this whole thing has proved that we are in the isreali's pocket and there's nothing we can do about it. Except use our wallets to vote. Cause clearly the ballots aren't working. When the time comes everyone expects America to do something and then they shit on us whatever we do. There is no winning. Palestine deserves to be free and Jews should have a right to peacefully coexist with them.

Just another Tet Offensive. Victor Charlie lost a lot their troops in Jan of '68. Though most notably divided the American public with the subsequent battles that took place in Saigon, Hu?, and other parts of the country. Same shit sandwich no matter which way you look at it. Just praying and hopping that Israel and Palestine can solve their differences without Hamas and Zionism.
