I have my own experience with this. When I was playing ARK: Survival Evolved a few years back, I accepted a 14 year old kid into the Tribe because you could tell he wasn't a "squeaker". Sammy was always down to raid with us even if it meant being up past his bedtime. His mom would come into his room and be like "Sammy you're supposed to be in bed!" He would be like "Sorry Maam... guys I gotta go." A few times we were up at night, I had just gone through a tough divorce (Im 37M), and Sammy was asking me if I was alright. And I vented just a little bit because I didn't want to jade his view on relationships. One day we got raided, our Tribe rage-quit for a few weeks, and when we came back I asked anyone if Sammy had gotten back to them. He didn't answer any messages. One night "he" joins party and it's actually not him... it was his mom. She says "You guys are his ARK friends right? Well I wanted to let you guys know that Sammy passed away from Leukemia and he talked about you all the time and loved playing the game. Sammy was fond of dinosaurs..." I had to exit party at that point because I was broken AF. This was a good 4-5 years ago and I'm still shedding tears as I write this. I can still hear Sammy's voice.
You just never know what battles someone else is fighting in REAL life. They could literally be battling for their life.

Who is actually winning? I'm confused, honestly. Like I just set timers on my phone to know when I'm done traveling (something I was doing even before being bountied). And I work in cell phone sales so I always have access to my phone.
It's true. I called dude a punk. I attempted to apologize and make it right. The bounties still come. So I mean if I stay quiet I'm still gonna be bountied. May as well let them know they aren't tough or making any sort of a point. Just makes them look pathetic.

Bro. I don't think you understand how SHOCKED I was at how low level leadership and the actual leader himself refused to be impartial over something so trivial. The faction leader was literally helping me throughout my start from Level 1 - Level 15 and was super chill the whole way. So when he came in chat after people were like "Wait until Retro sees you calling us punks" I fully expected him to be like "Next time obey leadership in the RW and don't let it happen again." His exact words were "I don't care how much you like me, you lost your membership after the RW." I didn't immediately call him a punk either. Of course I tried to reason with him and offered them to have me work "free" for a few RWs. But he was so hell bent that I was 100% in the wrong even though his two players blatantly were talking shit first that I was dumbfounded. So yes that led to me saying "Well if you support punks, then you are one yourself." But I mean people have said and done way worse to me online in various games. And IVe been in power positions and I just let them go away. What do I care that some rando 5,000 miles away called me a punk?
Yall can say "Well it's cheap bounties for him" all you want. Or that he doesn't think about me. He has to go and activate the bounties on me every time he does it. I know it's crazy. But a grown dude got so salty about being called a "punk" on a video game in which he's "important" and "tough" that he's bountied me for 25 days in a row. I mean sure I would bounty someone 10x and call it a day. But dude has to think about me and spend money on me every single day. Every day he clicks bounty with the thought "I'm offended. I'm gonna bounty this guy."

2) I said "minor disagreement" to give a Cliff Notes version. But yes I flew. Then I had a player DM me talking sh*t. I offered an apology and said "It wont happen again." He kept talking sh*t. That player blocked me after we talked sh*t back and forth. That player controlled our OCs. I went to the faction chat (thinking that player blocked me so therefore can't see my post) to innocently ask how this player impacts the OCs (Can he purposely give me sh*tty OCs and such?). That's when he started talking sh*t in faction chat (which shocked me because I didn't think that was possible). That member of leadership started coming at me for "taking it to faction chat" and also for flying and also was blatantly talking sh*t. Yes I ran my mouth back.

I called that "piss poor leadership" (which it is- if 2 of my employees have a disagreement, I have to be impartial). The two ran their mouths. I called them punks. Retro stepped in, said my membership would be forfeited because I "disrespected" a low level member of leadership. I then told Retro: "If you support punks, I'm sorry but that makes you a punk yourself." I offered to let them keep my $3 mil balance because I didn't feel I deserved it. It's club property. Retro gave it to me anyways. I apologized. The original 2 members accepted the apology. I get removed from faction after faction war- "Don't be a dic* your whole Torn life." Then the next day I'm seeing repeated bounties.
