I've had several situations where I've wanted to send the same item to every member of my faction. Maybe a special occasion like the holidays, we pulled out a tight war victory, or we hit a new milestone, and I want to send something out to celebrate. Or maybe a leader wants to send out consumables to everyone during a war. Currently, it'd take forever to select every member of your faction and send the item, with no guarantee you don't mess up and miss someone.
I think this would be a great QoL feature and help encourage comradery among faction members.
