General Discussion is for questions that will have a multitude of opinions and answers. 

Torn staff, GREAT JOB this year. Lag is already over. Normally it takes 12 hours for lag to end but this year, it's already over. 

Halloween is my favorite event on Torn City by far. Keep it up.

The game should go back to the name "Torn City" 

The old icons for factions, cooldown, drugs, low life, etc were better 

Tokens should be replaced with points for the time being in the token shop

That says 1.0 but I use them in 2.0? Am I missing something here? 

I remember that day well.

I was a high school senior IRL and had a rehearsal that night. No smart phones so no torn away from home. I got back from the rehearsal and logged in and saw the devastation (no pun intended). Rumors had been flying for weeks that it would happen soon. 

Has anyone else noticed that the Diamond Bladed Knife is the default melee image when you don't have a melee weapon equipped?

Are busting factions a thing? After I get all of the revive merits, and help out my current faction with some more chains, I'd like to start working on the busting merits

I've been here for 19 years. Not quite 20 yet 

Does "Proficience 24% increased EXP upon final hit" mean weapon experience or leveling experience or both? 

I recently have seen "What Are Old Folk Good For Anyway" pop up as something I can buy with my mission credits. Should I buy it just to have a book and to open up a slot? Or should I pass? I'm already level 100. I know that experience keeps going up after 100 and that is reflected in the Hall of Fame.

I don't think I'm poor. I've been playing this game for over 19 years 

I'm currently grinding for the Globetrotter merit. I'm also trying to have at least 1000 of each plushie and 1000 of each exotic flower to turn in next Museum Day. 

Right now, I have a really good system going where I'm flying while I'm working, and my breaks are timed perfectly with landing, so I can buy Plushies or something flowers and turn around and fly back. 

But I'm wondering, is there a point where doing this is no longer worth it and I should be doing something else on Torn City? 

What are your thoughts? Did anyone here give up flying after getting the Globetrotter and Tiger Skin merits? 

The members of a Torn City extremist group contact you with a proposal. They require some fresh credentials and they're willing to pay top dollar. These folks have some nasty beliefs, so you hit them with a demand of $250 per card. Your terms are accepted and you're able to offload 10,000 cards to the fanatics.

That there are special results available. So do those ones first while you have the nerve

Honestly, that sounds awesome. We need a massive points sink. I think that plus a way to re-read books for points could solve the issue
