I write a weekly faction newsletter for our forums, and I'm wanting to share it outside of Torn for review before posting it in our forums.

Are there any online tools that will display the text and images with all the correct formatting external to torn (Discord)? Like Pastebin, but with all formatting matching Torn's.

I love Torn. One minute I'm swearing at a guy for mugging me, then next minute I'm burning down a hunting lodge, the next I'm discussing the best way to analyse data.

I did the maths myself anyway just to confirm because I originally couldn't accept that cans would give more profits than FHCs, and you're 100% correct. FHCs will give you more treats and more rewards, but at a significantly higher expense. I used slightly different figures:

1 - Treat modifier of 1.63802. I used this because if following Andyman's upgrade guide your basket will be Petrifying when you start to exchange.

2 - Treat value of $739,037 from Th3_Ic0n's post. This is the biggest data set I could find, exchanging 9999 treats in one go.

I calculated it by assuming an exchange at 180 treats, giving back 18 treats and 990E, or 39 attacks, gaining a further 64 treats. This would mean you'd only need 98 treats for your next exchange.

This gives a $/E value of $97,553, and a profit $/6-hour-cooldown on the 25E cans of $4,821,029.

Obviously this is a little lower than your figure because of the reduced treat modifier, but close enough.

To add to this:

-It only seems to happen in password protected races with a bet value

-Some members report needing multiple attempts to gain entry, others cannot access the race at all

-Members enter the race, type the password, select the car, then usually the loading screen displays for 10 to 20 seconds then shows a 504 error

Every time I encounter an issue in Torn, whether through planned change or just lack of forseight, I check the forums and nine times out of ten you've already made a tool to get around the issue.

Right? Saving WIPs and templates would be super handy.

So far my best option has been to copy/paste into a word doc, get the formatting somewhere close then PDF and share. Just feels like a faff and that there should be an easier way.

Really starting to agree with whoever it was that suggested a minimum age requirement for posting in GD.
